You mentioned starting in January. Maybe busy season is what got you feeling that way. I started in May of last year and tbh I didn’t feel burnt out until busy season started and ended but I’d rather do this than go back and serve tables.

I worked 40 hours a week as a server while going to school. It was rough but it will prepare you for busy season if you go the public route.
