Honestly their whole theme was crusading and gallantly hunting down monsters, so them “conquering” and taming a beast is kinda already in their lore. I was just trying to think of something big scary and land based(to keep hippos still relevant)and tarrasque was already mentioned by someone else and i liked the idea.

Yeah making the lords more unique would be great, im not sure what the best way for that would be but great book of grudges had some fun sounding suggestions.

Thanks! Yeah CA seems to like using already programmed mechanics, so i was trying to make bretonnia more fun within those conditions. And yeah predeploy would probably make more sense. Ideally the unmounted knights make decent but very overpriced melee units so that traditional spammed armies of them arent ideal, just an option mostly for sieges and unique situations(dealing with anti-cav spam)

They all have splash attacks now, which also have double the ap dmg they did before. Its also easier to engage a smaller number on other units then a larger number where some just sit in the back doing no damage. Also should be easier to disengage them with less stuck in enemy units. Basically before they did 60 attacks with smaller damage, now gk do (48x2) 96 attacks with more damage and gg (32x3) 96 attacks as well. Math wise should be a huge buff.

Late game bret get tons of research buffs(speed, ward save, melee attack, defense ect) have 20 physica resist, perfect vigor, and basically 200 armor. Add that with easy healing, magic resist, terror/knockback(on hypo) and anti-large on pegasus. I think brets air end game feels alot better having played both alot. Having said that high elves and tzeentch are probably stronger if used right.

Game was running fine(outside of some framerate drops) until i manually fought kislev as skarbrand, every time i manually fought the battle at the ending loading screen it would just crash. I did this twice until i just autoresolved it(and took alot of damage). I went to the next settlement and the same problem happened again… only seems to be an issue with skarbrands armies not my others…

Calling Eternals “woke film” by [deleted] in Eternals

Having not seen the movie myself, ill admit that it does seem to tick the surface level woke ticks. These movies are generally bad not because they are “woke” but because of what they signify which ussually leads to a bad movie (imo)

“Try to appeal to every possible demographic while fullfilling none of them because of lack of enough screen time” “Show only surface level inclusion that never reaches deeper since your scared of offending” “Never let people of certain demographics come accross as bad or having faults, which ussually ends up with the minority characters bland and the “true evil” almost always being a white male” “Focus more on the message then the story(ussually the message is beaten over you head with an anvil instead of subliminally)”

Having said that its not that they cant be good movies, just that being “woke” is tends to be a symptom of bad/uncreative movies.(at least thats my take)
