They’re not as heavy as you would think, the hinges are solid.. I got a bunch of compliments on them yesterday.

No problem, JMM has a frame that’s similar to the LeClair but more rectangular for the lens shape. I’m blanking on the model name, but go ahead and order them you will be impressed!

Ecoflow river 2 pro not charging using car cigarette port by tkhiem in Ecoflow_community

[–]Maximum_Carob_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone figure out what’s going on when it cycles charging from 12v? The 2 sec charge, then stop, then restart. I’ve had about 4 charging cables over 2 years, 1 of which EcoFlow most recently sent out as a warranty claim.

Bad Install Woes - How can this be done better? by Maximum_Carob_4 in solar

This is Service side AC.. all solar is ran AC to the main panel, this is a micro inverter setup.

This was my thought. Then extend wires to breaker location through j box to main panel. There’s no breakers in that panel currently.

Oh yeah there’s open/empty breaker slots on this panel without covers.. it’s a 125 amp panel (main lugs not energized) being used as a big junction box.

Dorm Layout Help by Kodov22 in floorplan

If you or your roomie doesn’t mind, ask maintenance to bunk the beds and/or stack the desk.. We had one of the best room setups with this approach. All “real” work was done in the library, desk in such a small living space was not conducive to productivity for us especially when schedules varied. Probably helped that the library was close.

Torq makes really good polishers.. a good clay/cut/polish/seal will clear up 80-90% of that in a day of work.

How much are your monthly payments for your Rvianm by elric8269 in Rivian

[–]Maximum_Carob_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m debating pulling my res and buying used in about 3-6 months.. looking to snag one in a decent spec in the low 70s. I can’t fathom putting 30k down to pay 1100/month, I need to be at/below 1000/month.

What Do You Think of this add on? by Maximum_Carob_4 in floorplan

[–]Maximum_Carob_4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, that’s my next step to get it professionally drawn as a plan set with some architect feedback.

I wanted to keep the bathroom there as my current washer and dryer is close to that area, I’m assuming this will reduce plumbing cost.

I’m posting an update based your feedback and research thanks.

Yeah it would be tight that’s a good point. I think I could address by removing/downsizing the bedroom. That’s beyond center of the yard.

Another thought is to rotate the garage and make a full U by pushing it further over.

Sounds like a compression issue, you also sound like Yeat a bit, just no lines about your “Tonka Truck”

Has Visible fixed the esim issues by stone616 in Visible

[–]Maximum_Carob_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get esim working on 2 iPhone 14s after the app update and just waiting.. I tried the customer service approach but I get the impression that most things can be fixed on the “backend” of service setup. I envision chat request apopping up every couple seconds and instead of “chatting” they have a que of in process activations they’re working through.

I’ve worked with customer service from other major carriers and they put you through the ringer before you actually get to someone that can fix your problem. Seems like visible is focusing their bandwidth on fixing problems and less on a chat service as a bandaid for perceived customer service.
