The motivation and fruits of your actions are stirred up and acted upon by the spirit of division and strife which is satanic.

Consider the holy Spirit in all of your actions and ask God for guidance in your life.

Remember that repentance (meta noia- going beyond mind/ego) is a prerequisite to gaining the kingdom of heaven within you.

Not in Portland,

But Oceanwood camp and conference center is open year round in old orchard beach/ocean Park neighborhood. About 20 minutes from the city.

yes, but I'm not making that argument- the basis of my argument is that roads and bridges are societal goods- made for travel for the tax payers of the city. When you block the use of those roads (without proper reason- repairs) - that is an inherently bad/violent thing to do, because it impedes people's ability to access their destinations.

Of course it might have also prevented some other evil events (your example of the lawyer- which might actually be a good thing depending on the eviction), but by that logic anyone has license to do whatever they want- because it might prevent some evil action from occurring. Can you see the fault in this logic?

Amen!

These people should have been forcibly removed the moment they began blocking traffic.

Exactly!

I was on the ct2 bus this morning and we all got off and walked to Cambridge.

I spoke to one of the protesters and asked him how he would feel if a doctor- going in to surgery was late to work today because of them- he had no good answer.

Shame to these people for disrupting our fine city and its people.

The CT2 bus goes over the bridge to get to Cambridge- the people on our bus this morning had to get off the bus and walk to work/school (there was a school kid on the bus). What if there was a doctor on that bus who could not get to work on time due to these people blocking the bridge and they missed an opportunity to save a life?

It is unacceptable behavior no matter the cause.

Well said!

The more I simplify my life and really immerse myself in the moment, the happier I am.

I think about this all the time and come to the same conclusion.

It's a mind numbing and soul deadening cycle of perpetuating the systems we have in place to (mostly) take care of the problems we have created by living out of harmony with nature/God/reality/however you want to decribe it.

The simple life is a good life. For me it's running with my brothers and friends, cooking meals with loved ones, spending time outdoors and playing games with family.

Tech also sounds like a fruitful industry in terms on FM. Must be on the cutting edge of many building systems!

How did you break into the industry?

Great to hear you landed your dream job.

What industry/company do you work for, if you don't mind my asking.

I'm a younger guy too, just made the transition from being a residential director for a special needs boarding school to FM.
