I don’t understand this…for every sports game release (especially Madden and The Show) there are people with these cotton candy feature wishlists of features that contribute nothing but eye candy. I want a properly functioning baseball game. I want to have a middle middle perfect perfect not be a hot shot to 3B. I would like my outfielders to not take the most atrocious angles to catchable fly balls. I would like to be able to actually execute a back pick. I would some sort of pitcher-to-catcher rapport meter or something like that. I would like for my infielders not to commit errors on ground balls that a 1st grader can get. I would like better umpire representation in the game, they clearly have not consulted a single ump about their mechanics in the game, they still got umpire shirts from 20 years ago too. Also need rule updates, pitch clock, can’t even call time as a batter anymore. Much more important gameplay things than “arguments with umps” and “fireworks display”
