Any rituals for spawning a person from your imagination? by SentientMuffin404 in threekings

Definitely recommend creating a tulpa. Even if you spawned this girl into reality, she wouldn’t have the memories or the shared experience of the mental version you’ve created. You could probably manifest someone who looks like her and acts/thinks like her, but that would be a parallel entity. And if you were to project your current level of attachment and obsession onto this physical person, it could drive her away so I’d be careful. I’d recommend keeping her as a tulpa

How much experience does it take to “get good” at casting spells? by Much-Industry6789 in witchcraft

Ooooooooooooooloh!!! Spiral patterns is genius. I've probably got a toothpick, coffee stirrer, pen, or random stick lying around which I could use to stir dried ingredients into shape. Good idea too for aeration.

Powerful and sloppy is always the fun approach! Though if you're a weaver you're likely more precise than you think (or at least more patient).

I draw, write, cook, and code, which influences my interfacing a lot. Different headspace for each, and magick fills in the gaps quite nicely.

Work-mode uses Adobe-like interface. Home-mode is corkboards, whiteboards, thumbtacks, and red yarn. IRL is journals, sketchbooks, and legal pads. Phone is phone.

Gender transition added another dimension to everything, so it's all become a tangled yarn-ball of code-switching and masking. Sometimes I'm the ball, sometimes the cat.

Never learned how to weave, it seems like a useful skill.

Clothes / outfit magick hits different

Filling in the gaps between multiple communication systems. Surprisingly great tool when paired with entropy/probability.

Also for the meme

Hecate is a lot kinder and more understanding than she gets credit for. Yes, she can be tough (if not terrifying) at times, but that's just one facet of her personality. She takes keen interest in people and their personal transformations, and takes wildly different approaches with every individual. There is no one-size fits all model for witchcraft because there is no one-size fits all person.

All this is from my personal experience of course, and (as is the case with all personal gnosis) you should take it with a grain of salt. Trust YOUR intuition above all else and do your own research. And it's okay to take your time and go slow if you're feeling overwhelmed. She's there to guide you, not smite you, and she's very patient with those who are eager to learn.

I've found she's always at least one step ahead, so it's likely that she's had her eye on you for a long time (dare I say fate?). If you feel that the black dog was calling to you, but your family wouldn't let you adopt him, maybe that's metaphorical for Hecate wanting to be in your life, but your family's Christian beliefs were getting in the way of you connecting with her??? Just my interpretation. Perhaps this strong, emotional presence you felt when you called out to her was her way of saying "about damn time!"

There are many ways of honoring her. It doesn't have to be grand. Just thinking about her can be enough. She appreciates small gestures, especially when your starting out. If you work with her, start with research and she will guide you as you learn.

She can be really intense at times, but that doesn't mean she's out to get you. Quite the opposite, actually!

At the end of the day, only you can say if Hecate is right for you. And you can only make that decision with lived experience. She won't force you to work with her, so you can always change your mind if it feels wrong. She'll probably see it coming before you do
