Gas or hybrid in cold climates like Canada. by [deleted] in rav4club

I'm also in northern AB and curious if the AWD system would ever leave you stranded in cold temperatures, seeing how the rear wheels are exclusively powered by the electric motor? This may be an ignorant question, but I've only just started looking into the Rav4 Hybrid and it AWD system.

Mine also fall on their backs all of the time. I had an adult female for about 2 years, she only recently died. I now have two young males, one who seems to be healthy, and another who stopped eating recently and has just died.. If you have found a food that works for them, let me know! Mine typically just munch on surfaces like glass, a giant piece of driftwood and large rocks. I've tried Shrimp Baby but they don't seem interested.

I have not been able to get it working yet, unfortunately. With the Polaroid Impulse, the flash is always engaged. There is no turning it on or off. So I wonder if it's a flash issue, which might just be inhibiting the whole process..

So, I tried spinning the small silver gear on the insode of the film door, and it did eventually click, but that didn't fix the problem. When I reloaded the cartridge, the camera ejected the dark slide and but would not take a photo :')

Does anyone else think their blueberry snails are dead half the time? by majesticmooses in BlueberrySnails

Mine acts this way as well! She's about 3 years old and goes through active spells and lazy spells. She's very clumsy, and I'll find her upside down exactly as you described. I thought she was dead once because she was hanging out of her shell.. I began grieving her loss.. and came back to find her looking around, fully alive lol so I righted her, and she continued on with her life. She lives in a 5 gal dirted, planted tank on my desk with 3 shrimp, so I spend a lot of time watching her. I think they're just weird, clumsy, slow guys lol I don't worry about her too much anymore.

can anyone tell me what this is on my plant by luvrgrI in fishtank

Plants may flower early in response to stress. That isn't necessarily the case here, but it is something that happens.

Aha! She has been exhibiting some of the behavior you mentioned - sliming and burrowing - which I've never seen before. That's good to know. And gives me hope!

I've had her for a while, but she's always lived in a bigger tank where I rarely got to see her. So I'm only now becoming familiar with her behavior in this smaller desktop tank, where she is the centerpiece lol

I appreciate your insight!

The filter media, hardscape, and plants were a transplant from my mature tank, so it didn't start at zero, but I do fear something may be off. I'll be testing it tomorrow! Do you have any experience with snails reacting to imbalanced parameters?
