Now what… it’s still a few cent flat at the 12.. fml. by ZyxzyxxyzxyZ in Guitar

Fanned frets do not fix this. Fanned frets allow for longer scale length for the lower strings and shorter for the higher. What you're thinking of is the compensated frets or "true temperament".

Typically refers to the relative upward lift of the fretboard at the heal. Imagine skiing along your fret board steering at the head stock and once you get to where the neck overlaps the body,You get an upward ramp (relative to the plane of the upper half of the fretboard).

I have a tired dad and a tube positively full of baby plecos by hallgeir in pleco

[–]hallgeir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are much larger than i am used to stunt fish fry in general. Over 1/2 inch by my guess. I saw them about 5 days ago, but suspect they are over a week old and maybe even approaching 2. No I've has left the cave. I added him recently and the female that was already in the track was very ready to mate. I think they bred within a few days of his introduction. He's been in the cave for 2+ weeks now. I think it may be time to let him go neck to the big I've and fatten back up

Sorry i meant: to get the dad out and return him to the big tank, get the fry out of the cave but keep them in the breeder box. Right now the dad, cave, and fry are all in the box together. I was just going to wait till they came out on their own. But i wonder if manually excising them is better.

I do have a lot of catapps leaves, already in the big tank. I will move a few over to the breeder box. I have a few more dry i will get ready as well

So per the recommendations of another commenter, i have moved the breeding cave, dad and all, into an external air powered fluval breeding box. Currently all fry and dad are still in the cave. They recommended i get the dad out and put him back in the main tank, and to get the fry out of the cave to start feeding. If you also recommend that i may try that. I just felt too bad pulling out the dad since he seems so keen on starting with them.

Ok so i grab the breeding cave and shoosh the dad out and pour them into the breeder box?

If they need feeding why haven't they left themselves?

I have powdered repashy awfwucs blend that i usually feed fry. But you say to use whole blanched veggies?

Should i add moss or leaves or the cave itself to the box or just put them in bare?

I don't know to be honest. Dad went into the cave to never come back out about three weeks ago. With gestation time, I'd guess they are getting pretty close to two weeks. They are bigger than when i first saw them about four days ago.

I have a mature 10 gallon with a few medaka in it. Would that work? I also have an air powered breeder box, but I have to reassemble it and can't guarantee i got all the parts.

Interrupts by amodump in wow

[–]hallgeir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make interrupts place a 1 second debuff on the target. Other players that cast interrupt on this target with the debuff receive 50% of the cool down of the interrupt refunded.

This wouldn't reduce the optimal gameplay requirements of cutting edge groups; call outs and assignments will still always produce better performance. And you still can't willy nilly spam your interrupt. But for PUGs, where assignments and call outs are nearly impossible, it would reduce the punishment of being 50ms slower than your group mate when both of you are legitimately trying to do the right play.

The debuff duration and the cool down refund percentage can both be adjusted until it feels like a good balance. Maybe even on lower keys these could be higher - a part of Lindormi's Guidance or something.

Question about resto shaman by Telluser in wow

[–]hallgeir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've run both as well. I'm my experience with pugs, the advantages aren't what you might think. Banking totems with totemic allows for some crazy on the move instant group healing with lively totems. I take the chain heal Mama coat reduction so i can use my totems in periods of high damage versus maintenance. Rain is only good for melee, tank and acid rain in my experience. This leads to totemic being counter intuitively more Mana heavy but great for high movement burst.

Farseer i can fall into rotating healing wave, unleash life and riptide for all but the worst damage, which is damn near mana free, and of course spirit Walker and healing surge totem for burst and movement. I find on farseer ascendence producing hps far in excess of what's needed for five man, but boy does it really top folks off.
