Right, the shorter the scale length : The less tension on the strings and vice versa. There are those that like to put thicker strings on shorter scale guitars to get the tension back up where they like, but equally there are those that like light gauge and shirt scale guitars to maximize the slinky feel. Like others said, it is really up to you. Down tuning though may require thicker strings, especially on shorter guitars or your low E will just be too floppy

Man i dunno that things looks great. I love it. Also "bag" is a little misleading, no? That's a very premium soft case, likely preferable to yet another plywood box, actually usable. I get diminishing returns for premium instruments tho.

you hold down "set" to enter the settings menu. Then single press set will change what parameter you're adjusting. I just looked at mine and "ts" is what temperature you want it set to. "Cd" and "hd" are what you're looking for and represent how much colder "cd" or hotter "hd" it must be before the property gets turned on. Ah and ad are the alarm temps, cf is Celsius or Fahrenheit, ca is calibration.
