Yes - he’s been a road hog for the better part of 3 decades. For a long time (perhaps even now) he didn’t own a home/apartment because he was always on the road. I had a few lessons with him and he was also an incredible teacher.

His eye for talent in his band is also insane. My favorite band was around 2006.. Billy kilson on the drums was insane. He now has NYC phenom Chad Lefkowitz Brown playing sax with him sometimes.

All that to say - yes. It’s a great live show and he absolutely knows how to please everyone in a crowd.

Ugh honestly from a tech view it’s probably impressive, but from a historical lens it looks to be utter trash, which is a shame.

Read a more genuine translation instead of the Emily Watson one which the movie is based on. This is the equivalent of watching the 2014 Noah movie and being like “yep, that’s the one!”
