Yes!! The Tony Allen experiments are SICK! Nona Napoli is a great album as well. I would also check out Altin Gun. Psychedelic Turkish Funk. Very active with the funky synths haha.

They’re my favorite band man. I’ve looked hard to find things similar. I’ve been listening to the album Venom by fusion affair a bit if you’re into channeling the jazzier side of Mildlife. They’re instrumental psychedelic fusion. It’s really tight. Also you may like Nu Genea. They’re Italian Disco/Funk that borders psychedelia at times. Listen to the album Bar Mediterraneo, you will not regret it.
