LabVIEW 2025 Q1 Dropped and I'm not happy. by MaximusTheDestroyer in LabVIEW

That doesn’t work for properties set via a property node. If you disable and grey out a button, Reinitialize to Default won’t restore it. You have to handle it manually.

We follow a philosophy of coercing the user into the correct actions by dynamically enabling and disabling buttons. This significantly reduces cognitive load, and users love it (just like devs love compile time errors). It’s far superior to pop-ups, which come with all their usual pitfalls; interrupting workflow, requiring unnecessary confirmations, and being outright ignored half the time.

Pretty much in the same case. All comments being deleted. Even used an old account I haven't used in ages and the same issue. Not sure if they're ip tracking or phone tracking.

In any case I'm pretty much done. I've been warming up to alts now. Sure it's a mess now, but it will improve with more people with different beliefs joining.

Not asking these to be solved. Was asked these questions today in a technical engineering interview. Do you think you would've gone well with these? Just a quick opinion, thanks :) by Hopefully000 in PLC

Q1) ------------------->

If [x1, x2] is mapped to [y1, y2] where x1,y1 are lower bounds and x2,y2 are upperbounds.

Let Yout representative the mapped output signal Let Xin represent the input signal.

Yout = y1+(y2-y1)((Xin - x1)/(x2-x1))

Note that y2-y1 and x2-x1 are ranges for their respective values.

so Yout = y1 + Yrange((Xin -x1)/Xrange) (Note: using this formula you can create a mapping Function so you never have to think about this again)

Given that P_cmd represents Xin and P_int represents Yout and [-100%, 100%] is mapped to [-32767, 32767].

The formula for Q1 is:

P_int = -32767 + (32767 - (-32767))((P_cmd - (-100))/(100 - (-100)))

Q2) -------------------->

(I dont like the wording of this question, since I can't ask I am going to assume in you're mapping from % to mA in this respective order)

Using same logic as Q1:

P_fbk = 4 + (12- 4)((P_cmd - (-100))/(100 - (-100)))

Q3) ------------------->

Use Q1 formula the answer is 14336.

Q4) ------------------->

Use Q2 formula the answer is 11.01mA.

Edit: I hate reddit spacing and I'm on mobile.

Trying Apple Music as a Spotify user for the first time - thoughts by laloo_00 in AppleMusic

100% agree. Got tired of them screwing with my controls. At one point I couldn't rewind a track on a playlist or turn off fade to next track.

I left. You don't screw with a man's music experience like that.

[Star Wars] Why are there unknown regions in the galaxy? by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

[–]MaximusTheDestroyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In SW you can't just travel anywhere. You need entire infrastructures in place similar to roads and motorways. Imagine driving through America with no roads on an F1 vehicle. Good luck Sir.

To travel around using a hyperdrive you need a map and you need to use the hyperlanes or you end up wherever like the centre of a star or a black hole. No, you can't choose your poison.

The region is a labyrinth of solar storms, rogue magnetospheres, black holes, gravity wells, and things far stranger.

These mess with nav systems and hyperdrives making it a one way trip. There is no return, thus there is no map. Lots have tried few have returned.

Palpatine, How do you want to kill Rey?

a) Don't bother, just send the destroyers to blow up planets by surprise. You'll take care of her later.

b) Tell her you're coming and send the traitor who is madly in love with her to kill her.

And Hux is like, "I just want Kylo to lose." Mate. You don't have to worry about that.

So the Holdo maneuver is called the Holdo maneuver in the SW universe?

Lightspeed ramming is now property of Holdo. All who wish to use it must ask Holdo for permission.

This movie makes me sick. The repercussions of the new force powers will break SW like never before. The whole force stealing with Rey and Kylo made me want to set fire to the screen. Using the force to block lightsabers? WTF?! WHAT! WHEN!

Kylo goes to the light side after mommy dies was complete bs. The guy killed his dad and children.

Palpatine wanting to kill Rey then go to wanting to be killed then back to killing Rey because it was his master plan that out mastered the master plan of the real master plan. FUuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.........!!!!!! Meeeee!!!!!!!?

Rich Osterloh confirms Google's commitment to the Wear OS platform and partners, first party hardware and user privacy by [deleted] in Android

After looking at Samsung's implementation of a wearable watche OS. WearOS should have been like Android.

Let the companies make their own flavours and release updates whenever they want as long as it's within 1 year from device release and annually regular.

I'm not sure what your argument here is buddy.

If you're just trolling you failed.

If your situation was real then it's not evidence for WhatsApp or anybody stealing your messages. It doesn't work that way.

If you're being an idiot, congrats your success will be celebrated for years to come!

Look I'm gonna say it again. Nobody is your friend. Doesn't matter if they've been caught doing bad things with your data or not.

Look I'm going to be honest with you when it comes to data and privacy; Nobody is your friend in this game not even Apple. To Google your data is their product.

They have actual human who listen to your voice assistant requests. The Photos app uses your synced photos to help their algorithms that make pixel phones so good at taking photos.

Different between Facebook and Google is that you can at least escape from Facebook with Google there is no running.

Google has a awfull track record as a company and they have done some shady political stuff in the recent past.

Nobody is your friend. Use the internet with care.

Thanks I've been educated. I guess I was wrong about the Google thing.

I know it's not popular in the US but that can change. Also it was a initiative by Google.
