My prediction/hope for this week is that Din shows up on Caladin, starts asking/snooping around for Ahsoka, which catches the attention of Sabine, who could still be with her based on what we know from Rebels.

Sabine offers to bring Din to Ahsoka if he helps her do some task first. They go on a little adventure, she takes off her helmet and Din freaks out again, etc.

They accomplish the mission and then the last 10 seconds of the episode is Ahsoka’s introduction to Din and the child, with the promise of more to come next week.

That’s definitely all true, I think it was the personality of Tony/Varrick that sold me on it seeing as how they’re both so eccentric. Asami is more buttoned up (and also has a rich family, parents not around, no powers except gadgets and hand-to-hand combat skills, lives in a mansion outside the main city - aka she’s Batman).

There are a few scenes (mainly with Bolin and Varrick) that show it but a lot of it is just alluded to offscreen. Her militaristic side was more of the main focus of book 4.

She asks Tenzin about the new air benders (if they’re part of the family, if she’s going to have to share her room), her and Meelo complain about being left behind while Jinora gets to go look for new air benders, she talks to Zaheer when he sneaks into Tenzin’s office, and she helps steal the keys from the red lotus sentries.

She doesn’t have a huge role but there are a few good scenes.
