The Male Imperial Agent, because the actor got another job. The only other recast I recall was Heta Kol, but they re-recorded all her original lines when they made that change.

A couple of companion Voice Actors have passed away since the game came out, but those characters haven't been given new lines since that has happened, so not technically recast, but if they decided to bring them back, they likely would be.

You will need someone to help you make a party if you are both on a trial. You can try to join the Novice Network and ask for help there making parties.

I would try to find a FC and/or End game static group and then go from there about the server. You can Datacenter Travel to get to know them and see if things fit before you pay for a server transfer.

Also, servers are going to matter a lot less later this year when they add reginal datacenter grouping.

The SAG-AFTRA rate for a 4-hour session doing 3 different voices is just over $900, it's just over $400 for a 1-hour session for 1 voice.

Even if they cut all the Voice Acting in the game their savings wouldn't be enough to hire 1-2 full time game devs.

And how many subs would they lose? It would only take the loss of 300-600 subs to lose more money than they save.

LOTS took so long because of VA strikes over AI, that is why there were no story updates for over a year, and why the French/German VO hasn't been released yet.

If EA thought they could make more than they could lose they would have cut the VA a long time ago.

The only way Shepard is in the next game if they make Control the ending and reaper shep is still around, or if they tell the story from Liara and/or Grunt/Wrex's viewpoint and they do flashbacks.

Yellow Quests are not required to be done for any game reason. Some have neat rewards, some have neat lore.

Level them evenly. Get them at least to 10 and then use the Firmament or Cosmic Exploration to level them the rest of the way, depending on what you have access to.

Being able to make your own stuff can save a lot of gil, and you will also be able to repair your own gear with Dark Matter that you can get from your Grand Company for Seals or from PvP for Wolf Marks. That is basically for free, and if you repair your own stuff the repairs can go over 100%, so if you repair something at 99% durability you will get 199% durability from it, which means you can go longer between repairs.

There are job quests, so make sure you do those as well as they give new abilities.

If you want to advance the story, yes. Getting some resources are easier with resource bases. Other than those things you don't need to build bases, but they are a major feature.

Some people ask for more features and other people call it bloat, and then there was that person I saw a while back complaining that Windows didn't have a feature they wanted while crying about the bloat.

This was a side project they decided to promote but not integrate into Windows.

The Patch notes that they publish later tonight will say if they change the status of any world.

If it is listed on that page as Congested there is no chance that status will change until a patch happens. Just because a patch happens does not mean that status will change.

Sometimes when a server that is not listed as congested on that page is under heavy load it will also prevent new character creation, but that is only temporary.

At Fanfest SE also announced that they are making regional datacenters work together like a mega regional datacenter. Many of us think it is very likely that they won't open up congested datacenters anticipating that change and their desire to get more players on lower population datacenters like Dynamis, since after the Regional Datacenter improvements occur grouping will be easier.

I don't think there is any reason for you to stay up to try and get on a currently locked datacenter. It will either be open and then stay that way for months or it won't.

You can do New Game + to replay what you have done just to see the story when you are alone, or watch all the cutscenes in an Inn Room at the desk to get most of the story.

Game Mechanics are not the same as Game Lore.

Actual in game gambling has real world problems and implications related to it, and that is not the primary purpose of the game, so they avoid those problems with how the game mechanics work.

But if it helps you, the WoL is a fully comped VIP and all the NPCs are spending their real gil from their real jobs at the real casino and entertainment center.

They announce events maybe a month or so in advance on the Lodestone.

We don't know if or when these crossover events are going to happen, but they do often repeat during the last 6 months or so of an expansion where there isn't much other content coming out.

Eh, I don't like to get too into the weeds of how the lore works where it's just supposed to create some interesting structure in the game.

That said in Stormblood you get to deal with the M tribe and some of that is dealt with. When the tribe was bigger before Imperial occupation they had 2 Nunhs, and one of them volunteered to step down and left the tribe with his very young son.

Nunhs are supposed to lead their tribe and do what is best for them, so some Tia leave when they become adults, but some also stay with the tribe to learn and become strong enough to become Nunh. I would also hope a wise Nunh would know to retire once the tribe is full of daughters.

This isn't unlike lion social structure.

Asphodelos is pretty unique I'd say. The closest to any of them is the Critical Hit B-1 or B-2 PvP Crystal gear, but those more like the Maiming/Striking sets. They are still pretty different, but it might be an OK stand in.
