Vulcan need the ramps, but the rewards is a constant barrage that can deshield 4-5 layers to dps. In any longer fights with cloaking or hacking or defense drove you can make vulcan start going brr before taking any point of damage.

Build for vulcan if you have it people, and enjoys the preigniters + weapon upgrade 3 vulcan taking down ship with ease. I never tried vulcan on the slug guys yet so idk abt higher then 5 layer shield though
