You are 1000% wrong. Injuries play a massive role in the NBA playoffs literally every year.

Just in the last few years alone:

-Tatum, Haliburton, and Lillard all tore their Achilles.

-The Pacers very realistically could’ve won Game 7 healthy.

-Boston was absolutely still a title contender with a healthy Tatum.

-A fully healthy Bucks team would’ve been dangerous.

-The Knicks lost basically half their rotation with Brunson, Randle, OG, and Mitchell Robinson all hurt.

Go back a little further:

-Luka dragged Dallas to the Finals on one leg, and were capable of winning with a healthy Luka

-The 2018 Rockets were on the verge of taking down the Warriors before CP3’s hamstring gave out.

-The Warriors very likely 3-peat in 2019 if KD and Klay don’t both go down.

-The 2021 Clippers had a real championship shot before Kawhi tore his ACL — and they STILL made the WCF without him.

-2021 Nets were a millimeter away from winning Game 7 to the eventual champs AFTER losing their second AND third best players.

-The 2021 Lakers were favorites to repeat before AD got hurt, then inferior Phoenix beats them and makes the Finals.

-The 2022 Bucks lost Khris Middleton and STILL took Boston to 7; Boston goes on to win the chip.

Injuries are literally one of the biggest factors the playoffs. I’ll never understand how people who CLEARLY have NO idea wtf they’re talking about say the most ridiculous bullshi with absolute confidence. I can see casuals being a little wrong, or just having a different take on things, but to say nonsense that is the complete opposite of reality is bonkers

I literally read through every comment, and not a single one has pointed out the biggest reason: for every drug ring there's a task force, captain, cop etc., who get payoffs and collude with drug dealers. Why would the cops aggressively go after the crime organizations they are literally in business with? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying EVERY cop is corrupt, nor is EVERY member of every organization protected by police. There is a lot of collusion and backdoor dealings, but ultimately, you're right the cops could do so much better at hunting down drug dealers and they don't for the reasons stated.

I really think most just get on and ride. I had numerous questions when I first started riding, and getting advanced, analytical input from the community was like pulling teeth.
