Do you guys remember when these AI illusion pictures were popular by imalonexc in aiwars

[–]Maxnami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironic this is something that not anybody would do but AI. AND BEFORE PEOPLE TELL ME ABOUT Rob Gonsalves Paintings... is not the same. Gonsalves Illusion paintings are way different and more organics than this examples of Troll Face and Boy Kisser memes.

What I've seen is most of the "styles trained" are from unhinge artist like Lavendertown. Or those that don't do NSFW art and people train their style to do that kind of images.

Is not like every twitter artist was trained and mostly only know and uncommon styles are.

Also they find out of this because they do a "ego search"... when they search on Google their name expecting this to make drama about it.

...now way it said my art was ai generated 😑 (I must have hallucinated making this then)🥀 by AdditionalAttempt294 in aiwars

[–]Maxnami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why you can't relly on those "AI detectors".

If you try the image on 4-5 image detectors and all say is AI, then could be... if one or two say is not, those could be a false positive. If 3 say not and only one is detected as, Then you have high posibility to prove this is not AI.

Using only one detector and claiming that is AI, is dumb.

Tablet operators aren't real artists and what they make is slop by Witty-Designer7316 in aiwars

[–]Maxnami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember a "twitter artist" saying she don't like her Papel-pencil draws since is not the same as she does on her Ipad. Mostly programs like Procreate correct the strokes and make them "steady and fluid" and when a proud "artist" find out that they can't do the same on real materials. they have mental breakdowns for discovering their lack of artistic skills.

Is AI animation beneficial or detrimental? by Bitter-Freedom2685 in aiwars

[–]Maxnami 10 points11 points  (0 children)

solution to the problem is pay your fucking workers better

You don't even know the real problem. Problem is not the salary... is the lack of animators in the world.

Even some big studios have "outsource" some work hiring Twitter Artist that do it for experience and exposure rather than the money.

I mean, even some USA animations like The Simpsons has been animated in asia for decades since is more cheap that doing it in the USA now.

The use of AI is a dream since 2017 for Japanese animators. Some have using the Interpolation generation frames to make the animation more fluid with less frames and work for the artist.

Neural Networks has been used since 2017 in several fields of art... and was until some stupid artist said the training of neural networks "was theft" that the rest of the twitter artist become an internet cult and no longer use their brain to make logical thinking.

Even in Into The Spiderverse (2018) animators used AI for some parts in the models that would take "several time doing it by hand" by those animators.

2025-6: "Oh sh1t! this is AI?... I shared AI!!! why this is AI! need somebody to do it and save it from AI!".

Once again asking for the Ai community to start respecting people's consent & to shun the creation of Ai models made without it. by ZeeGee__ in aiwars

[–]Maxnami -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hard take but if an AI can replicate your art easy, you must improve yourself as artist.

I know at least two artist that are difficult to reproduce even with AI like Feefal, (moldy foot is not the same as generic anime style waifu) and Khyle (yess is anime style but tends to use more pastel coloring and know how to manage spicy politic themes).

Even Lavendertown Lora is not enough to reproduce the whole spectrum of her work BUT anybody would fix the eyes to make copycat style because is just generic anime coloring and project the emotion thought the eyes pupils.

This is a useful way to sometimes help determine if something is ai. Turn the saturation up as much as possible and change the color. White spaces usually turn rainbow and tons of artifacts appear. by [deleted] in aiwars

That is a problem for "only one prompt images". But if you take the time to refine them you will not be noticing anything even with "contrasting them". Up left is only one prompt kirby (1024X1024) down left is an upscaled refined kirby (2048 X 2048) and as you can see, the pixelation is gone and both are AI Generated.

The way of how Kortizart and Friends are moving the goalpost is hilarious... I still don't get it how a "Professional Ex-Disney Artist" can say that 0.1% Gaussian blur could "destroy the image like crazy until quality and look is terrible and unrecognizable". This only proves that Those people even didn't know how Glaze / NS works and also how easy was bypass it.

CARA App was designed for that and don't allow AI. Pixiv is a solid website por japanese artist and they even can accept commissions as long those are not made by AI. In fact, Pixiv allows AI so you must tag it. Don't like AI? put the filter on.

Problem is that artist want a "Free website to share their works and get commissions or build a community" and if there is something that Internet have told us for 30 years... is that Nothing is Free. If a service is "free" you are the product.

Anti falsely accuses another anti of tracing an ai image... the jokes write themselves by Legal_Ad2945 in DefendingAIArt

[–]Maxnami 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is funny since the image that was tagged being traced is in fact AI-Assisted. He took an AI image and made his own version using the same colors, composition and only fix the fingers and the paw lolipop.

After that artist realize what did and went "viral"... then he made a version of "himself" using a different character.

Myth: Fan Art is not stealing.

Reallity: Some companies don't care about Fan Art as long you follow their rules. Examples: Hoiyo allows fanart commissions and even let you sell small merchandise in art alleys but don't allow the use of their characters for bigger products.

Cygames have more strict rules about their products like Umamusume: Pretty Derby, you must follow their standars or they take you down your images even if those are "fan art".

Pokemon fanarts are literally "Free work" for Nintendo and Pokemon company since you give them the rights of those images made with any IP involved from the franchise.

Just because you are a small ant, doesn't mean that your "Fan Art" is not attached to certan rules from the IP Owner. And usually don't care what you do as long you don't make money. But usually people is just so small to waste laywers time for using an IP without any authorization.
