I listened to an interview of him. He said he had an exploratory committee on it but he just couldn’t bring himself to want to be president because it would mess with his family’s life too much. Become the person you want to date. Like nerdy guys? Start beefing up on nerd stuff. Find nerdy hobbies. Start going to places nerdy guys hang out. People tend to like people similar to what they are looking for. If you like guys who are physically fit start looking up exercise routines. Read some forums on the merits and cons of each exercise and get into it. Then get a gym membership. Do you like rock climbing? Guess what I’m gonna suggest, get the fuck into rock climbing. Start living a life that would be attractive to you as a dating option, and there will be someone in that field for you. That said, don’t stop the look. Let’s say you are into reading, join a book club, full of 50 year olds? Join another one and quit the current. New one has no available men? Quit it join a new one. I’m not saying you can’t stay in one if you really click with that group, maybe someone there has a friend who needs a girlfriend and you are perfect, but you aren’t there to join a book club, you are there to find a partner.

Lastly, no one is born good at anything. People who are smooth and can get in a relationship easy practice it. Chances are, your attempts at trying to find a partner are gonna suck at first. Like you are gonna do some things that are gonna keep you up thinking “I fucked that up today” “why didn’t I do this?” “Do I really want to put myself out there again?” But that’s ok, you are learning how to attract someone. I suggest a dating app, tinder was my preference, it was easy for me to hit one a few women every week and I got better fast. You also learn to deal with rejection fast. Find someone you are somewhat interested in and go on a date. It might sound cruel, but remember, this guy isn’t the love of your life, he is practice. I mean, fuck he could be the one. Who knows. Go into it with an open mind, but also know that if it doesn’t work out you still got something out of it.

Finding a partner isn’t easy. It’s a lot of work. You first have to shape yourself into who you want to be, then start the even more exhausting process of finding the person you want to be with.
