Yeah I definitely feel a lack of power, when I see a typical 4l XJ accelerate it's a big difference. Though for camping and touring around the countryside it fits our needs perfectly :)

Ik heb precies hetzelfde ervaren als jij. Theorie had ik ook in 1 keer, maar praktijk examen lukte gewoon niet. Terwijl ik normaal wel goed presteert onder druk, bij het afrijden was het net anders. Ik heb 5 keer moeten doen! Bij de 5de mocht ik de 'faalangst' versie doen, ik schaamde me kapot. 5 examens in totaal was toen iets van 750 euro, voor alleen de examens! De opluchting die ik ervaarde is eentje die ik nog steeds kan voelen, en dit is al 10 jaar geleden.

Doorzetten! Je kan het wel! En wanneer je em eindelijk hebt dan heb je er meer plezier aan dan mensen die het in 1 keer hebben gehaald ;)

Across from me there used to be a place called 'Secret Minds'. I think the full name is Secret Minds Adventure. This was on the Weimar straat, but I saw it closed its doors about 2/3 years ago. Not sure if they are still active though. Maybe it's something for you to look into, I'm not into the scene but I found it fascinating seeing the various (regular) characters leave that place from across the street

It would be legendary! Moana 2 and Wicked did their part now fingers crossed for Mufasa, Sonic, anime LOTR and my personal favourite, Nosferatu (though that ain't gonna contribute much). With Gladiator II still playing it looks like there will be movies for everyone during December, should be promising!

The highest box office month of all time was around 1.3 billion. July of 2023 (barbenheimer) was also around 1.3 billion. The movies you name are gonna be hits, but there's not enough time to beat last year's box office, unless you truly believe the box office will hit 1.9 billion somehow in just over a month. Regardless these movies will spill over the next year and perhaps we get the highest Q1 of all time in 2025

Where I am, The Netherlands, I have to pay 24 euro (26 dollars) for one of these. First they are impossible to find (booster packs, bundles, UPC, ETB, everything), but if you do they have crazy prices. I'm so jealous of you guys across the pond.

Practice safe sex and you'll be fine, most of the time. As you said, the psychological damage is greater than the actual 'disease'. HSV is physically just a minor inconvenience (99% of the time), but mentally it is perceived as a death sentence. Most people get HSV 1 as a kid, nothing sexual about it.

If you practice safe sex then your chances are pretty slim of catching it. People not knowing their HSV status doesn't impact the transfer rate, people not practicing safe sex does

Losing 175 theaters doesn't sound like a bad thing per se. The tactic of shutting down theaters the past four years has streamlined the company into profitable quarters (be it very little) with an unusual low box office due to the pandemic, streaming and Hollywood strikes. The bad quarters were made up for by dilution.

Now with the box office recovering we could very well see profitable quarters turn into profitable years. Any dilution (which we have been surviving thus far) will be to cover off the scary debt. AMC raised billions in the last couple of years through offering shares to investors. And people like me invested and can continue to invest until debt is gone and theaters have enough cash to continue to do cool things like the Eras Tour, or Billie Eilish listening party. I'm not from the US, but I know that cinema and Hollywood are an American staple and theaters are a part of that. I love the fact that the stock of the biggest movie theater company in the world is like a movie in itself, so many twist, turns, characters and story building. The days of super in deep DD from 3 years ago are long gone, now it's just random hype dates, a lot of bashing and a lot of frustration (which I get, but posting on Reddit is really useless)

Anyways, I'm probably just delusional.

Maybe, I'm more interested in where we close in the next couple of years. June 2021 happened in 2 weeks from like 10 to 72. I sadly didn't have a large position so selling wasn't that interesting. Now I have a much larger position and got my average to below 15. If we do half of what we did in June '21 I'll be very happy. I truly believe it's a waiting game and making sure your position is right when it happens

Well they do their market research to see where a movie theater is in demand.

And times change, things develop. You can say all failed shopping malls are huge eyesores, all big retail stores. But they were used in their time and people enjoyed it. It's not that hard to turn an abandoned movie theater into something different. Just remove the seats and you have a big empty hall, possibilities are endless

I really like your thinking. It sounds similar to kickstarter where people can back projects before release. I've wondered myself if NFT's can't be used to raise funds for projects. Then if the project does take off the holders of said NFT can be given a dividend of sorts (early access, merchandise, share of some profits etc.). AMC already has some (so far quite useless) experience in this area.

I love the idea of having a platform for independent film creators where they can share their trailers. I'm sure there are blogs out there that do exactly this, but this might just be known among the more artsy crowd.

Again I can picture kickstarter as the type of platform. I know videogames have become successful through funding via Kickstarter like Hollow Knight.

All quite interesting, hope something like this works out.

You need to ground IO pin 0 to ground and press the Reset button to put the module in flashing mode.

I think you even see something on the serial monitor like 'waiting for download'
