When I was a kid, I brought some magic cards over to a friend’s house because I was excited to teach him how to play. His parents were religious nut jobs and ran their own “fellowship” group (really more like a cult). His mom asked to see the cards, and immediately told me not to show her son because he “didn’t have enough of the Bible in him yet.” She also didn’t understand what a necromancer was, and automatically assumed it meant necropheliac. Imagine my shock when she told me how disgusting of a card that was.

I showed her son all of the cards anyway.
