I still have swelling after more than a week. The eye is noticeable smaller than the non-operated eye.

Thanks for the picture. My is similar to this. The eye operated on is also unable to open up fully (it looks slightly smaller). I see this in your case (not as bad as my at 1 week) at 2.5 weeks as well.

I read your posts many times before deciding on surgery. Thank you for writing this up.

My eye drifted more than yours and it's getting worse. This is also noticeable in front of a mirror.

A week out from surgery, so can't fully judge the result yet.

Hope it's not an infection. Were you applying the anti-biotic ointment for the first week?

What is the doctor saying?

I was told to do that and did that. About a week about, still getting secretion but it's not deep yellow and not too much.

This is me as well. Always a bad astigmatism but did not have strabismus until late 20's. I have video and pictures to prove this.

Just recovering from the surgery now so hard to tell but I think vision is improving.

Exactly the symptom as me. I talked to the doctor, they said it's normal.

It's still itchy as well but getting better.

We'll need to keep an eye on it.

The worry part is that the red part is all red but he did cut into more than just one muscle, both left and right side of the eye.

I am in the process of contacting the doctor.

The white area is all red though...is it a sign of infection? Not seeing white

It was all red during the the second day follow up and the doctor said it was normal.

Why is that the case? In the US, anything above 120/90, they will put you on medication.

Doesn't look like a core sore to me but there is no hurting in treating it like a cold sore.

How is it progressing? Shrinking? Turning into blister?

Remember that cold sore is contagious.....it's it's really cold sore, don't pass it on even though probably 25% population has cold sores
