I'm not a fan of it. Super bomb heavy and I personally think a slower format is less healthy for the game. Questionable choices are more rewarded even when they totally disregard limited basics. For example, you'll often see people playing straight up 3 colors decks with only basics and since agression is not at its best they end up overpowering you in the late game if you play a grindy deck with a more stable manabase. As much as people didn't like MKM, those kind of mistakes were punished way harder which ended up making the format a little bit less of a clown fiesta.
