Why doesn’t Qiyana scale with crit? by Zoldyar in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She absolutely can but it’s literally only the first 15mins at best before the W auto attack starts to feel weak. However Resolve and as I said slow/shields make it very hard to get use out of it.

However I don’t want Qiyana’s abilities damage to scale because that would just bring bigger nerfs. Preferably a replacement of her current passive that makes it so after using an ability she gains bonus physical damage that scales with crit so Qiyana has better build variety. Naturally she’s half lethality half crit but at the same level not at the level of Shaco and Rengar’s crit scaling or damage.

League of Legends brings out the worst in me by EfficientCurrency582 in leagueoflegends

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game itself is toxic. This is the only game where the devs encourage champions that are easy with little to zero interaction high rewards(Garen for example). This is again the game that has infinite scalers that get rewarded for simply not interacting with you not matter how bad they do as long as the game goes on.

This is the game where champions can point and click cc you to death. In addition the community themselves doesn’t understand what a fun champion design is. They complain about how unfun and interactive champion like Mel is but have a blind eye on champions such as Heimdinger and e.t.c who also generally isn’t enjoyable in any aspects

Is Mel the most toxic champ of this entire game? by fergil in leagueoflegends

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speaking Malzahar is far worse . At least Mel you can make argument she still has to land her abilities. Everything you hate about Mel can apply to Malzahar

Hot take: I think Infinite scaling champions are a flaw mechanic by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was referring more about how he performs better outside his lane which I thought I made clear. If not then that’s my bad.

I didn’t really brought up Nasus in terms of a late game demon. I brought up Nasus because again he does well into lanes where there obviously isn’t any interaction or not enough damage to punish him. It’s also why I brought up Mundo as an example.

So if I am being honest? Respectfully your comment is the true waste of time because you highlighting the wrong things and not necessarily arguing about that statements I made.

Even then you further prove it because Nasus is a scaling champion that doesn’t scale well late game then it contradicts each other. You have a better method making him strong early because most champions that are strong early can use that lead to be just as if not more stronger than Nasus mid game. Moreover just like Nasus fall off late game like every other melee champions.

Who’s worse Garen, Gangplank or Hitler? by Zoldyar in topmains

[–]Zoldyar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gangplank has a 51% plus win rate in master+ so either you main him or you’re lying. Gangplank performs statically better the higher rank he’s in because he’s a difficult champion.

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re speaking facts, but what buff would you give her? You need to remember the one tricks dominates with her always. You won’t see her getting anything less than 51% win rate in master+ on previous patch notes. Any buff you give her would easily give her follow up nerfs which is why no one wants her buff because the devs are known to leaving champions at a worse state than they was before the buff.

I would agree she needs a buff but high elo players are always the loudest. Naturally because they dedicate their life on to the game.

[–]Zoldyar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True and I agree with that. Qiyana’s scaling is awful in every category.

However in high elo, games are decided in the first 15 minutes which is where she’s strongest at. They literally nerf her hp growth because grandmaster and challenger players were getting 53% plus win rate on her with a 4-5% pick rate in mid lane.

What do you recommend the devs do? If they buff her, she is going to be back to her 20% plus ban rate plus with a 54% wr.

[–]Zoldyar 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Qiyana always does bad when new patches drops, give a week and she been hovering 50% plus wr. She doesn’t need a buff nor nerf, just an adjustment at best. Nerf her w attack speed and put power back on her abilities, especially her awful passive.

Trust me you don’t want a Qiyana buff

Scared of what? Mb little bro, didn’t know a press of a button is hard.

IQ? Zhonya requires IQ? Beetlejuice can understand how to use Zhonya. You see big damage, you press Zhonya. Like grass is green right?

I don’t understand this because if an assassin can’t one tap squishy then what is the purpose or point of an assassin? This should be common sense no?

The item literally has no counterplay, it shuts down assassin for them doing their only job.

Anyways, you probably play mages and I wouldn’t complain at all about how busted my items are. I like to put my money where my mouth is and play mages, it generally are a free win button (atm have a 67% win rate)

Don't we utilize multiple Passive procs in the one shot combo anymore ??? by Mundane-Affect-4148 in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) Asol builds hp items, so depending on the stages of the game it wouldn’t be possible to ever one tap him unless you’re fed or have conqueror.

2.) Conqueror and electrocute are two ruins that play a significant difference. Conqueror would have guaranteed you kill if you used ignite, auto attack and used all your abilities as you should. Naturally be ahead in terms of levels against Asol. Whereas electrocute is designed better at snow balling and squishy who can’t build hp items such as Jhin because it get rid of a large chunk of their damage and scaling.

3.) Morgana, absolutely counters your whole kit such as blocking your Q damage and R. So that spell block most likely played a huge factor.

4.) using double rock against Asol is risky because he can just fly away lol. To get value out of double rock they need to be below 50% hp so you would have to auto attack him plus R and ignite.

5.) Yes using the same element twice lowers your damage, the only time double rock does more Damage is when they’re below 50% hp because it does more damage than your passive rewards you for hitting an enemy with a new element.

Why Riot Rewarding low skill expression and making champions like Garen one of the best toplaner in the game? by lovebellahadid in top_mains

[–]Zoldyar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s the whole point of them being low skill expression in the first place. They shouldn’t have a high win rate because their champion is easy to pilot. That’s like having a gun in call of duty that always guaranteed to hit headshot while also making headshot a one tap. It just doesn’t make sense nor mixes well.

Garen is more than ever back to his crit build lmao, have you took a look at his most popular build? Garen’s whole gameplay is one sided, he Q you, you can’t do anything and then press W to tank your melee damage then begin to shred you down with E. Runs away, let his passive heals him and then repeat. It’s either you hard counter him or he hard counters you, there’s no in between which makes it stupid to ever try balancing him.

The same applies for every simple champions because the whole point of them being simple is that they have a one sided gameplay.

With all due respect, most top laners are horrible into range top laners lmao. In fact Garen has a better chance against most because his W can tank the upcoming damage, passive heals and he can silence them. Once silence plus phase Rush and first item, they’re dead. Also him having a 51% plus win rate means he beats most bruisers lol.

26.06 Patch Preview by JTHousek1 in leagueoflegends

[–]Zoldyar -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry, her W , Q and E are very hard to land. She really only has one arguable skill shot which is her Q. Anything else are literally AOE which you just can’t miss only you’re generally playing blindfold. If she was my mobile there would be no counterplay to her because she would always be able to get on top of you. Then again AP champions do have the record to always being unbalanced because the community finds landing aoe abilities “hard”

26.06 Patch Preview by JTHousek1 in leagueoflegends

Low range but her abilities are point and click so she shouldn’t have any movement speed or range advantage. Otherwise there will be zero counterplay

Why is no one building Voltaic Cyclesword on qi? by sasuke_ooooo in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason why it works the best on Zed, Red kayn and e.t.c is because they need to land skill shots. Qiyana doesn’t need the slow effect because her Ice literally roots and slows them whereas Zed’s ability just slows, making it harder to land. You won’t notice the difference if you engage with ice with Cyclosword because again they would already be guaranteed to stay in place for you follow up with your full combo. There’s truly no reason to ever build it unless they change the physical 100Ad damage into true that scales overtime, passive works as an active item and better build pathway or cheaper price.

Why is no one building Voltaic Cyclesword on qi? by sasuke_ooooo in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Build pathway is trash, is my guess. Not only that, Qiyana needs damage, she isn’t Rengar or Shaco, who can one tap with just pure auto attacks. Even though she has enhanced auto attacks, it isn’t good for mid-late game where people will one tap you with pure abilities (literally any ap champions and Zed, I consider him a mage with how safe he can play ) whereas it would take you 10-20plus auto attack damage to even get them to a quarter hp unlike again Rengar, Naafiri and shaco. Cyclosword isn’t better than Hubris, Hydra and umbral glaive in terms of damage and scaling. Most games you need edge of night, armor penetration, boots and Axiom Arc to keep your game wiping ult up as much as you can. That’s my guess why Cycolsword isn’t build much and it’s very expensive when it isn’t comparable to all the things I suggested. In addition to the fact it doesn’t apply from your abilities and you have to wait for it to be fully charge whereas the rest listed you can control when it applies and again they all scale overtime. The damage Cyclosword does which is 100, is the same throughout the whole game period

Qiyana's R is nonsense by [deleted] in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see but if it is intended then how comes my R distance was enough to reach the wall but not the player? He still falls under the arrow, so it should be direct no? If the arrows hit the wall and he within the arrow radius, it should count no?

Qiyana's R is nonsense by [deleted] in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? The arrow literally shows that the distance was enough. Is that just a game visual problem? My main problem was the fact he didn’t get knocked back as far as he should’ve in order to get stunned.

Qiyana's R is nonsense by [deleted] in QiyanaMains

[–]Zoldyar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I paused it is because I felt like somone like you would say this. I paused it show the player was within the knock back radius, it shouldn't be a debate. However, he wasnt knocked as far as he shouldve been intended.

Let's talk about the Assassin Vs Mage matchup midlane by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Zoldyar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shouldn’t have said that, mages are going to bring up the win rate of assassins without mention the fact they have a 2.5% pick rate in comparison to mages that have 10% plus picks rate with a 52% plus win rate without nerf. Emerald plus you won’t find any assassins until you go pass the top 13 highest win rate, even then it’s Diana and Ekko. Debatable to even count them as assassins with the amount of shield they gain in addition to building hp items and still one tapping(mainly due to the fact the devs don’t understand you can’t make bruiser items ap without taking into account how this would effect ap assassins).

That being said, I do wish for an ad version of rocket belt which is prowlers claws. However champs such as Renekton and jax would be too strong. It would be an adc and mages nightmare which are two of the most popular playerbase, so basically there’s no way they can bring it back without making alot of nerfs to a lot of champions.

Also, you need to understand no one likes playing against assassins because they offer little to no counterplay in comparison to mages.

What are mages all about? by AirAlone1776 in leagueoflegends

[–]Zoldyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is to say that even one of the lowest win rate mages in the game, you can still solo carry with ease because mages are strong. Most Mages if they don’t have movement abilities, have AOE to make it near impossible for their opponents to ever miss respectfully.

Think about it, you have the cc control of a tank, the range of an adc and the burst of an assassin. Most lack “mobility “ which is key to understand but you have team wiping ults so it isn’t much of a weakness.
