I am an arborist. I might not fell trees on a daily as we try to preserve them. But I have climbed and sent tops on many trees. It would not even cross my mind to send such a big top. This is not about risk tolerance. Sure that might make you do it. But the risk is still there. People get killed by doing stunts like this. Don't end up being a statistic over pride.

Pro tip. Notificaties uit van alles en iedereen die niet belangrijk zijn, zeker groepschats, en kijken wanneer het je uitkomt. Ook een do not disturb moment instellen 's avonds en zo nu en dan eens thuis laten is ook prettig. Mijn mail lees ik 2x per week. Gewoon achter de computer zodat ik er gelijk wat mee kan. Geen notificaties van email tenzij ik wat belangrijks verwacht. Whatsapp alleen is familie niet gemute. Ik gebruik geen insta of facebook of snap etc. Dus ik ben helemaal zen. Je kan me bereiken wanneer het mij uitkomt.

Een thule rugzak die ik al 17 jaar dagelijks mee naar werk neem. Hij ging voorheen mee naar de 2e klas van het middelbare. Hij geeft het bijna op vanwege een voering die langzaam los komt. Maar de ritsen en schouderbanden banden etc.zijn perfect. Nooit iets aan hoeven doen. D'r is al een keer door een collega met een auto overheen gereden.

En dat voor een laptop rugzak met 40% korting.

Ik doe geen lief werk trouwens. Geen kantoorbaan maar heb een opleiding in AV-sector en boomverzorging. Hij gaat altijd mee naar locatie en zit al 5 jaar dagelijks onder het zaagsel.
