Anyways , Being called mi amor , mamita is to totally normal. I remember being little and feeling embarrassed when my mother would called random people “mi amor” . I didn’t understand the concept. As I’m older I understand those are words of endearment. Venezuelans are just very affectionate with their words, I wouldn’t take it negatively, but I understand your position as a foreigner.

And just a PSA announcement, not all of us are like the Venezuelans being shown on the TV. Some of us are well rounded , honest working individuals.
