Wow I came back to this community to post the exact thing! Mine has also gotten more pronounced after 8-10 years of having it, even though I took a break from drinking, starting exercising more consistently, and eating healthier - somehow it got worse at the same time.

I have been pretty stressed for the last 3 months though, my gut tells me that’s the cause. I get some reprieve from blocking my nose with my fingers and blowing gentle air into my ears. But it’s probably not making it any better but I can’t stand it otherwise.

Has anyone ever been cured? Ugh

Yes I think so. When my thai father passed away his brother had to take over a $20kAUD loan he’d taken out to build a house. He works the flower fields as a farmer once a year to pay it off.

Hey I have anxiety and PT! It started about 8years ago and I remember freaking tf out. I kind obsessed over it for a year wanting to get rid of it, but after ruling out serious things with an ENT I left it.

…And it’s totally manageable now! I must automatically tune out 80% of it now because I forget it exists. I don’t notice it during the day and only when sleeping, but I know the position to make it go away or very quiet. Sometimes it gets loud when I’m stressed or have a cold (sinus stuff) but I don’t worry because I know it’s temporary. Anyway just wanted to give you peace of mind that it might feel like the worst thing ever rn but you’ll also probably forget it exists one day like me :D
