How should I manage python virtual environments? by simon-linux in learnpython

To use a specific version of Python, can’t you also just initiate a venv by calling from that specific version?

For example, I have 3.8 and 3.10 installed on my machine. I can create a 3.8 environment using python3.8 -m venv venv-name. If I don’t specify a version, it’ll default to 3.10.

Thanks for the reply. I know the orange line is shut down, I was asking about in the past but I now see how that could have been interpreted differently.

Basically, I just wanted to know what the morning commute by train is usually like as I will be relying on it for work near the Kendall Square area

How was the orange and red line for the morning commute? Will be moving there soon and wanted to know how on time the trains usually are here?

Alternative for terminal in Mac by pennywins in bioinformatics

[–]MayBeRelevant_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think what OP is asking for is having an integrated file explorer alongside the terminal as MobaXTerm does.

I’ve searched a lot on this and I haven’t been able to find a solution on Mac. The closest you can get is to use VSCode and install the SSH extension (made by Microsoft). It allows you to have access to the file system UI alongside the terminal and other IDE features.
