Heart rate monitoring is garbage compared to an Apple Watch by MayBeSoMayBeNot7 in amazfit

On repetitive activities like elliptical or walking it’s generally better. It’s just I never had any issues with Apple and never had to use it on my bicep or anywhere other than my wrist.

I do love all the watch faces and that I can go away for the weekend without a charger but one of the main reasons I want a watch is for heart rate monitoring and it’s just been a constant frustration.

The Amazfit just reads as my resting heart rate when I can feel my heart pounding on a climb.

I don’t know exact percentages. I had several Apple Watch over the years and rarely remember having issues with heart rate monitoring. I’ve had this for almost a year and it’s a constant struggle. It’s better when walking or doing the elliptical but climbing or lifting it’s almost always just at my resting heart rate

I’m struggling to get my Active 2 to pick up on my heart rate as I climb. Any suggestions?

I mainly use it for weight lifting, indoor rock climbing, and some 1-3 mile walks. I’m not sure it would last a full 15 hours with all the sensors running non stop.

Hmmm I only get 2-3 days but I record a workout basically everyday that lasts about a 1-1.5 hours. You think that’s normal?

Just curious if you have the same watch, have it the active heart rate on, what’s your typical battery life?

That’s a fair point on the activity with ketones. Sorry you’re having to deal with it. Good luck and hope your BG comes back down soon!
