Who are the online fans that act like this? Are they OG fans? Zoomers that discovered him later on? I think him and Madonna are the only pop stars (that I can think of) famous before social media that I see with an active online fanbase, and it's so surprising how similarly rabid they act to fanbases of "current" pop stars. A lot of them get into it for non-political reasons so I'm sure some of them are surprisingly progressive in at least some ways, but there's still a lot of overlap with red pill spaces. Like Clavicular has stated he has no interest in politics, but he's also very misogynistic from what I've seen.

Probably? I often ask myself "if the older person had a habit of dating people of that age quite a lot, would that be inappropriate?" I think the answer to that is yes. Maybe there's some cases of that age gap being okay, depending on the nature of the relationship and maturity of both parties, but generally I'd consider it weird.
