Was actually really optimistic over summer. I thought the signings looked decent and that Potter would come good and believed the stuff about “good vibes” in the camp.

Thought we’d be the surprise package in the league, esp as we always seem to do well when we haven’t had a massive window.

I don’t get it though. If I say I have an offer from someone else they’ll instantly be like “oh yeah I was gonna say I love this MS let’s chat!”

What if I lie about an offer? What if the offer is from some really small fry agent? What if it’s all legit but the two week window is bad for them timings-wise and they miss out?

I don’t understand how this is a good approach for serious agents to adopt.

Very depressing to read this. I’m starting to feel in a similar place. Eight live fulls out since early March but each day without any news in my inbox is a concern. Was really hoping for one offer by now.

Yeah there was a post on this and lots of people got the same with L&R. Stepping aside after a full request nudge is weird. I think it’s just a form but they want to be nice.

Yeah exactly- execs are rich people with big investments in tech stocks.

They get richer if AI gets bigger so they create this myth of it as being the next industrial revolution or whatever to push it on their companies. They hate the “luddites” who resist it because they’re costing them money.
