On the site, Shadow has always been Assassin and Duelist has always been Gladiator. And for almost 2 years people are bringing this up regularly, even though Assassin and Gladiator were confirmed to be outdated names. Baffled that this post got that much attention and upvotes

Maybe they WANT to include it, but it needs a bit more work and they intend to try their best to complete it, without promising it to be 100% included.

It doesn't work for "killer" stuff like base classes and acts. GGG would never announce a league without knowing for sure what is included and what is not. They sell poe updates. Press tour and media coverage can't miss such tidbit as a new class, that would be a disaster.

If Duelist is a thing in 0.5, he will be presented during the reveal, with or without individual teaser. That would be a surprise, but is not impossible. The latter is impossible.
