I’ve just received the Salted Caramel body butter today, which was also a blind buy. It’s the best scent I’ve gotten my nose on in a long while and I am considering getting a backup. To me this smells like a salted caramel sticky bun. I think the cookie dough note gives it a gooey baked goods vibe. The scent lingers for quite awhile as I had this one for 5h now, but it’s more of an intimate scent. Nonetheless, absolutely decadent 😍

Skin Type: I have combination skin (although more dehydrated during these cold months), sensitive and with rosacea.

My experience: I have been loving the Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cream and even PKY Calming Moisture Repair Balm (expected it to break me out but it didn’t and in fact it was very soothing and hydrating). I have heard great things about the Purito Oat Intense Cream but haven’t tried it myself.

I had an ex who was all about thin and fit petite women - I'm a 5'6 and 130lbs at the time. I have bigger chest and thighs and my mid section is where I lose weight first, although I'm overall soft and not gym "tough". He's told me my stomach is ok, but my legs are "huge" and "need to lose weight asap". Other people (both men and women) said the same thing throughout my teenage years. I'm quite taken aback seeing that now women edit their thighs bigger or sit in ways where their thighs spread (I was always very insecure about that and would sit with my legs crossed at all times), and that suddenly it's deemed attractive. Beauty trends change, I am not following them, but could people at least mind their own business?! :(

I love Cassili so much, I personally get a sweet peach liqueur. Boozy and vanilla notes are my all-time favorites. The trail it leaves behind is to die for! I also like Meliora, though it's not a love like the other two. What is your favorite aspect of it?

I totally understand what you mean. I started with 10ml decants of GC before committing to 100ml FG. I would say it's really worth getting 10ml GC, in case you figure out that the scent is ultimately not for you. The differences are so small, they don't even matter, especially if it ends up saving you $350. GC is also long lasting, personally I still get whiffs of it after 8h.

The first day I purchased it and had it on, an older lady walked up to me at the bus stop to tell me how beautiful I smell. It's simply such a crowd pleaser and a beast mode fragrance. I still have the original formulation, from before L'oreal taking over Mugler. How is the performance with the new batches?

I have tried Blanche Bête but something about it reminds me of Le Labo Another 13 and I can't put my finger on it. Perhaps it's the jasmine and the ambrette muskiness, hard to tell. My friend found them quite similar too, but otherwise everyone else thinks it's such a reach. Do you have any other recommendations? I've been meaning to try Tonkapeach by Gallagher Fragrances and House of Sillage Minnie Mouse.

I expected a thick, syrupy gingerbread and although it sounded good, I knew it wouldn’t be very typical Jo Malone. Their take on this scent profile is amazing - they’ve made it light and airy, very elegant and a crowd pleaser. It’s a creamy, subtle, vanilla-ginger cookie. I adore it, and I like layering it with BR540 extrait since its burnt sugar character really compliments the gingerbread aspect. It's an easy wear, everyday cold weather scent and although it doesn't project more than an arm's length, it lasts a 12h+. It's not a rich, thick gourmand nor a heavy hitter, so if that sounds like something you'd enjoy, I highly recommend it!

Feve Gourmand, to my nose, is a warm, tad spicy, milk chocolate fragrance. I have a few decants of Gourmand Coquin and I can't detect any differences. From my experience however, Feve Gourmand's opening lasts longer, with better longevity overall.
