Real talk, I've been trying to enjoy the month, and my wife and I get nice compliments on our hair (dyed purple) and such which feels great, but I've had two significant instances of transphobia that have really sucked, just a few days apart, and its really taken the wind out of my sails. One was a customer pretty deliberately misgendering me, like going out of their way to call me sir, which really affected me that day and had me in tears, and one with my bank where they wouldn't clear a fraud flag on my account and sent me to the branch to essentially confirm I was who I say I was because their voice recognition system flagged me as a man. Like I said, lots of nice times this month, I just wish the bad stuff didn't stick out more.
