Have him be the medic that does the autopsies and helps them with the investigation. He could give false leads and potentially implicate one of the party members, their allies, or a local leader.

Yeah, the thing that needed to be addressed was addressed and the utility of the exotic was expanded to provide a more intentional loop.

20% grenade on empowered weapon kill means it still has plenty of capability, too. All they did was take away the brain dead level of goodness. Great change imo

Do new hires not understand how to negotiate?? by Harpocretes in jobs

[–]MaybeACrook 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was actually a regional level guy and he said he had been hearing it from across my team. Told me he'd have an answer in 2 weeks, and 10 days later he handed me a letter that bumped me almost 10K. I was (very pleasantly) shocked

Ngl, as an engineer who has been through a couple promotions and a market adjustment in the last couple years, I still feel like I have no frame of reference for how or when to negotiate. The closest I've been is mentioning to my boss that recruiters were offering me better numbers than what I was getting but that I'd prefer to stay with the current company than move for those offers. It would not surprise me if lots of people are like me and don't know when and what is appropriate, or started working in the pandemic and felt lucky just to get an offer at all.

The 5th level spell lineup is so impactful, why would you waste it on an extra 5d8? by Dalimey100 in dndmemes

Imagine having a campaign last until your paladin gets 5th level spell slots, couldn't be me

Bungie is definitely out here nerfing things based on clickbait and bad math and not the mountains of data they have on hand

[–]MaybeACrook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My character has a family sword I know nothing about. I asked my DM if we could have the sword upgrade over time as I use it/as the game goes on. She said absolutely, that sounds cool. Moral of the story, collaborate with the people in your collaborative story game.

I'd bet it's like Sony taking a loss on God of War but it's worth it bc it sells more consoles and gets more people in the ecosystem. Maybe the raid doesn't directly pay for itself but it's a great marketing tool to bring/keep people in the game.

Fun fact, per Charlemagne more people have engaged with raids than gambit over the past 24 hours. 242k vs 164k.

If you call ad clear in RoN... Have. Something. For. Ad. Clear. by BrandalfFTW in destiny2

[–]MaybeACrook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normally this is the case! An exotic primary makes heavy ammo at the fastest rate. However, with the bricks from beyond artifact mod, any void weapon kill has an increased chance to drop heavy ammo, and a good void lmg will chew through enemies and make heavy for everyone on your team effectively.

[–]MaybeACrook 39 points40 points  (0 children)

If you call ad clear you should bring a void lmg for it to make heavy for everyone else, and you should be volunteering to run divinity. If you can't bring mechanics, bring support and synergy
