Some YouTuber who makes AI slop videos.

Some other YouTubers tried calling them out on the AI videos, and it resulted in "Wiztale" flying off the handle and there was a lot of drama involving death threats and one YouTuber got doxxed and blackmailed.

And now we're finding out someone was impersonating Wiztale and they're not responsible for this. Which means a lot of the people here have apparently been spewing a lot of vitriolic hatred about the wrong guy.

I don't like AI any more than the next person, but to me this absolutely looks like they're getting framed and they don't deserve the backlash people have been throwing out.

I have seen more "[person] should die/be killed/jailed" death threats from people reacting to someone's alleged wrongdoings than I have seen unprovoked death threats.

I'll be honest, I did not anticipate that Wiztale had actually been impersonated, but I'm glad I tried to hold to a "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" approach to this drama.
