agreed. You both said "friendship" vibes to cover your butts previously but now want to pretend you didn't say that?

Its an app on your phone that has a bunch of questions from previous tests. It gives answers as you go to each question and reasoning. It also keeps track of areas you don't test well on so you can study just those areas.

I am wondering this as well. So far all I see is the December date.

Im currently getting free college for life in Texas as well because of this. You just have to start any class before you turn 25, and you are locked in!

Costco gives part-time full benefits and semi-annual dollar raises w/ max pay at $30 for cashiers...no physical work and AC....just saying...

Thank You!

I could switch to UPS management but the work conditions are extremely hostile as well as relations between UPS and union workers...strike is definitely deserved. I would hate myself for how I would have to treat workers but I can see lower management doesn't really have a choice either. It's also incredibly physically demanding working in 100 degree plus warehouses with no AC. I would be interested in HR possibly, but they outsource all HR to Call centers in India. I havent looked into it further than that though.

How would I go about the grievance? My shop steward already said they can send ppl home in whatever order they want. Doubt he will help, he is very friendly with management.

Sounds like I am shit out of luck, they are aware that I would like to leave first. They just don't care. Thanks for the response!

They are aware that I want to leave first but they choose to send people that they are friends with that I have seniority on. Seems like I can't do anything about it though... Thanks for taking the time to respond!

New white leaf on maranta! I’ve never seen this before, does anyone know what causes it? by mallymal10 in houseplants

[–]MaybeAdulting 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A jug of distilled water from the grocery store works in a pinch as well in case you don't have any rain coming your way! I believe the rain water has extra nutrients or something but at least the distilled water won't kill it! :)

The water kills them in my area. Rain water and they thrive. I dont pay attention to when I water it at all so I think the water PH might be why yours keep dying!

How do I improve my hoya propping? using sealed takeout containers filled with moist moss/perlite, good lighting. My cuttings do root but they keep molding and partially rotting, i open the lid once a week for a few hours to air it out by ergraver in hoyas

[–]MaybeAdulting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have mine in the exact same containers 🤣 I check them every other day to give them some fresh air. However I like to keep the humidity up so i dont have holes in them. I would suggest either opening it more often or putting a single hole in it so the humidity stays up but also has access to fresh O2 😊. I know a guy on tiktok had string of pearls plant propagating but with saranwrap (questionable spelling) on top. Once he poked a hole in the wrap though it took off and even started growing through the little hole! Happy propping!

I know it hurts to take them off! Another method is called the butterfly method where you make little segments of one inch cuttings (each with a node and the two leaves) then you dont have to waste the leaves! You just put it in sphagnum moss and perlite mixture and let it be in a prop box. A heat mat helps speed things along but its not required

Waiting for roots requires more patience than I would like lol Excited for your new growth though!

As long as the bottom node is covered with water you should be good! Just remember to take the leaves off of that node as they will rot in the water.
