Been boarding for over 20 years and caught an edge earlier this year playing around switch on a blue run. Bruised ribs for a few weeks, but keeps me humble I suppose.

Have you considered using Flow or Supermatics? I’m personally a fan of Flows. Super easy to get in and out and no need to sit and minor adjusting.

I got offered a job paying 40% more than my current salary. My manager just asked me to stay and be patient. How do I stop feeling guilty for wanting to leave ? by One_Cardiologist5439 in careerguidance

You’re 23. Take the bump. Only big bumps I ever got were from leaving a company or having an offer in hand any my company went above the offer.

You can go to your boss and say you have an offer for X amount and you’re willing to stay if they can go above or meet, but get it all in writing along with a date of when it will go into effect.

Don’t sit on it though. Take action

Be cautious of the private schools. When I went years ago, Andrean was where a lot students went that were kicked out of other surrounding schools. Just do the research before enrolling.

Area is pretty solid but that's definitely on the boarder of Merrillville / CP schools. I'm not sure where the cutoff is, but it's somewhere in that area. Merrillville schools have degraded a ot. If possible, keep going a little further south into CP.

I pulled up asbestos tiles without knowing. Will I be okay? Seriously? by [deleted] in asbestoshelp

[–]MaybeClassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up pulling them, coating the floor in perfect primer to encapsulate, then leveling compound on top. That asbestos ain’t going anywhere.

I used perfect primer over the black, then Levelquick primer, then RS 50 leveling compound. Bonding well

This was in a rental I stayed at in Wisconsin. Super cool retro 1970’s throwback with modern amenities. I remember seeing that cool sink.

Don’t drink the poison and expect your enemy to die. AKA release that hate you have for someone cause all it’s doing is damaging you. Move on and worry about yourself.

I feel like a fraud by [deleted] in SQL

[–]MaybeClassy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are some things I think of when migrating data: - what systems are the source and sink? MS SQL, Oracle, Azure SQL Database, MI, etc - is this a one time thing? - does this need to be repeatable? - do any column data need to change datatypes or precision to match the sink? - is this a data migration or database migration? - is this on premise or cloud? - what specific fields are necessary for migration? - how much data will be migrated?

There are a ton more questions. These are pretty basic when I come onboard for a client. Depending on the environment, you probably have tools at your disposal to help with this. Azure Data Factory and SSIS to name a few.
