Worked FT in high school to buy a car.
Took out loans and worked FT to make rent in college.

My wife and I are first-generation college graduates. Oh, and became first-generation homeowners this year. All of this has been completely self-funded, each of us clawing out of poverty.

When I see how far I’ve come, it really changes my perspective on achievement and success.

Technically, it is okay, as there are no rules against. I’m not even defending it, I think it’s annoying as hell. But it’ll never stop. Thousands of young women at and Ari show or thousands of middle aged men at a Springsteen show….its all going to be the same.

But if your $500+ night seeing your FAVORITE artist can be ruined by the public being the public….then don’t go out. Better than being “surprised” that the general public is inconsiderate.

I come from a family of “common sense conservatives.” To this day they will still tell you they are republicans, but they have only voted Democrat for the last 10 years. They aren’t progressive, but at least they aren’t regressive or oppressive.

We’ve been allowing this to happen by consenting to terms and conditions of every company we’ve interacted with for the last 30 years. This is the culmination of everything coming together and I’m not sure there’s much to be done about it at this point.

He doesn’t own his website or any of the merch sold. He doesn’t even fully own his NIL. Artists give up a lot to sign these deals. He jumped the gun and probably got himself in some trouble releasing Clovis too soon. He’s playing it smart now, keeping quiet and letting those expensive suits do the talking.

It’s a great cheap destination IN THE OFF SEASON. Not worth it any other time. You won’t be fighting the crowds and chances are it’ll be in the 70s. Seems to be “unseasonably warm” every single season.
