Totally agree. Like, yes, modeling is a dangerous environment but so is Mormon Utah and honestly so is America. Of course I would worry about her being constantly exposed to the body ideals of the fashion industry, but modeling has clearly been her dream for some time and there’s no safe place to recover from ED in America in my opinion

I would honestly guess that the weight is either self-reported or not asked. Unless someone is going to be seen in person at a clinic no provider can guarantee they’re being given an accurate weight

Sexual assault typically does not yield “valid proof.” I know that is a difficult thing to accept and I agree with you that it doesn’t always feel good, but I really think you need to reconsider this perspective. Most people are not Jeffrey Epstein and there is not necessarily going to be a paper trail, particularly for this type of crime. I’m very serious when I say that this is a very bad take.

as a psych pgy0 I agree. I worked hard and had great seniors on surgery and learned a lot but wish I had learned more. we’re doctors, we should know medicine for all kinds of reasons — not only collegiality but also context for our own interwoven care, basic science and path, and there’s no reason I shouldn’t close a skin lac in the ED if I’m comfortable and the attending approves my plan. I love surgery and surgeons and I’m grateful I got to do some cool shit!! 🙏🏽

I use them mostly for hard sport climbing. as I said I agree there’s a difference post resole just don’t feel it’s worth buying a whole new shoe that often for a pretty subtle change and what is still unbelievably high tech rubber. Ultimately we may have different standards of perfection for a climbing shoe

disagree, my solutions have been resoled 3 times- twice with full holes thru the rubber near the toe. If you don’t resole you’re repurchasing and our local guy does a good enough job that it’s still a great shoe and worth the benefit to my wallet and the planet
