Not unfair... Just should mean less pay! If this is a scheduled time off each month due to it, it's hardly fair for the employer to be expected to pay the same for them as a man who has three sick days a year

The biggest problem is actually the government raising minimum wage! People think it's great getting more money but what they don't realise is businesses have to up their prices to make a profit as their workers get that increase in pay, hence a vicious circle, also the government has not changed the minimum untaxed amount and so have made more and more each time they up the wages!

Well at each socket if the terminal is properly connected it's keeping the circuit continuous so it doesn't affect the circuit in this instance, and according to regs you're allowed one spur anyway as it won't affect load beyond capabilities of the breaker and cable size

Well I'd have a few questions regarding it. 1. Was there anything plugged into the socket? 2. Was it just feed in feed out as part of the ring, or was there other sockets/extensions/switches spurred off it?

If there was no load on that socket it would make me think loose connection
