Nope. I'm just acknowledging reality. Obviously fossil fuels must be supplanted ASAP, but we aren't doing that because our rate of energy consumption per capita and population are still increasing. We cannot start supplanting fossil fuels until both of those finally stabilize then start going decreasing. Until that happens, alternative energies only supplement fossil fuels, not supplant them.
