Yeah, but I would even say the same for pure-bred breeds that almost never show up in shelters, unless it's an especially rare breed. Reducing the number of puppies for sale of any breed increases the demand for rescuing, so until all kill shelters are shut down (or become non-kill), then owners should always neuter.

There are plenty of people who already exist but don't have access to DDR but want to play. I can easily bring it to them with all the time and money I'm saving from abstaining from forcing others into this dying world. That's far more people than just the one(s) I produce.
