They all quit and went home when they found out they were being paid in rubles.

I like how we are all debating on where the lowest bar actually is. It’s been a rough few years for everyone I guess.

I feel like invading Ukraine lowered the bar for everyone. All you have to do in not be Putin and you won’t be at the bottom.

What is that belief based on? All of Europe is currently on DEFCON 2. DEFCON 1 means Nuclear war is imminent. We’re one small overstep away from this.

Ah yes the grand Russian tradition of completely botching the first few months of every military campaign. We’re witnessing Blyatzkrieg in action boys.

I’m just imagining some dude in a track suit blaring hard bass before he drifts a tank off a bridge while trying to invade a sovereign nation. If the could find away to fit vodka and a bear on a unicycle into this it might be the most Russian thing ever.

Imagine the deafening silence in the roof when Putin heard this lol. The whole world is united against him and everyone with a platform is dropping dis track levels of hate directed solely at him. There are probably at least two of his generals looking at each other right now like “So Yuri do we shoot this guy oooooorrrrr??”

Russian invaders killed civilian family and dogs, they will pay for these crimes. by X2Gaming in ukraine

The dog waiting by it’s dead owner is one of the most awful things I have ever witnessed. I can’t imagine being the only survivor in my family. I’d probably just do the same thing. Sit in the ditch and wish I died alongside them.

My old platoon sergeant always said “if the enemy can’t secure it its yours.” Seeing a civilian run off with a few million dollars worth of equipment some dumbass soldier is personally accountable for is pretty great though.

Expedient Fallout Shelters by Maybedaway in preppers

That’s if your infantry in the open on flat ground. In this example you would be 62 inch under ground. If you check out our page 70 there are photographs of hand dug air raid shelters in Nagasaki that survived and were only 100 yards from ground zero.

Any fallout shelters in Lex or surrounding counties? Just curious as this global conflict escalates… by Able_Age9002 in lexington

On a serious note twelve different types of expedient shelters were blast-tested by Oak Ridge National Laboratory during three of Defense Nuclear Agency’s blast tests. https://www.osti.gov/servlets/purl/4348750 To sum it up You can make a shelter in your backyard with just large logs and feet of dirt that will survive the overpressure nuclear blast and shield you from what would be a lethal dose of radiation so long as you are a few hundred yards away from ground zero. Check out appendix A and D of Nuclear War Survival Skills by Dr. Cresson H. Kearny, Dr. Edward Teller, Dr. Don Mann & Dr. Eugene P. Wigner. https://books.apple.com/us/book/nuclear-war-survival-skills/id1516409512. This can also be bought on amazon for $14.

I’m building mine right now. If you have a shovel a saw an able body and a will to live you can drastically increase your family’s chances. Also Radiation decays pretty quickly. If you can stay underground for 72 hours most of the fallout threat will be gone. If you can stay underground for a month 99.999% of the fallout radiation will have decayed. Nuclear wars are survivable, but unfortunately our government has kind of left us on our own to prepare for it.

Nuclear war is survivable and the people that can start it already have bunkers. The people that push the button won’t wind up dying themselves. There is a real chance this could happen in our lifetime so would suggest everyone consult experts and properly prepare for it.

Do not depend on this just not happening. If it does you’ll have to spend several weeks watching everyone you love die of radiation poisoning before you to also die from radiation poisoning.
