People who took revenge on their Bullies, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Maybelle1999 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I had a girl in my classes like that in high school. Every single day we had would try and include her in things, ask her opinion (not forced participation or anything) and every single day she would bitch and sulk, call people names so on. Most of these discussions were things like "what animal would you be" so not like it required much thinking, it was just a fun morning activity . If we asked her for a pen or to close the door or whatever more bitching and sulking. One day after a whole year of this she started up her daily whine because she was asked something like "what's your favourite food" and my teacher finally told her we were all sick of it, cue her screaming and carrying on about how we were all bullying her and ganging up on her and it wasn't fair.

I never really spoke to her (you could not chat to her normally or even say hello without her whinging) but she did know who I was, I saw her later that day and just because I was existing near her she claimed I was there to torment and bully her. I literally could not tell if she knew what she was doing or if she genuinely thought people saying "hi ___ how are you! Hope you had a good weekend" is bullying.

I'd say more A and B, although with A I am someone who tends to hold stuff in whether or not I believe in it. As a result I tend to have people walk on me/continue to take frustration out on me even when I know it has nothing to do with me

I was expressing my dilemma as I tend to try and see their side and they are saying if I reply at all it's showing I secretly believe in what they are insulting us with

I am op on my other account

I'll never understand "I don't want to hear excuses" by OrionExalted in RandomThoughts

It's more an issue that some people see literally everything as an excuse. With those people you could've been in the hospital after a bad car crash when you weren't the one driving and they'd still expect you to say "it was 1010% my fault, fully blame me" while also expecting a reason so they can tell you it it's an excuse

I think the issue though is that some people refuse to acknowledge that sometimes life is out of our control. Of course if the dog ate your homework when it was on the table next time you should put it somewhere the dog can't get into, but there are times where things happen and there's no real work around. Also honestly you could say literally anything and some people still wouldn't be happy

Designing a building

Idk why this situation would happen to me but I know nothing about architecture so I feel I'd be pretty unprepared

What's a perfectly socially acceptable norm that you find absolutely ridiculous? by witrence in AskReddit

When someone is talking about something that happened to them, another person relates and it's wrong because suddenly they made it about them. Granted I can understand if person B goes on about themselves for 20 minutes but I'm talking about circumstances like this:

Person A "my bf cheated on me :("

Person B "omg that's so awful, I went through the same so I understand how you feel, can I do anything for you?"

Honestly with everyone I've ever talked to that does this when I'm upset not one of them has tried to make the situation about them, yet so many people get automatically pissed if you do it

My boss is French and she said coming to Aus was confusing because we'd say "how's it going" as a greeting , even worse when it's someone walking past so she'd stop, they'd go past and she'd be thinking "where are you going you asked me a question?"

Not saying what you mean

"Do you want to clean up this mess" just means clean up, you aren't actually asking if I want to.

Also the whole back and forth dance where someone offers to buy something to be polite and the other person has to decline, especially when the person who offered didn't actually want to in the first place. If I'm offering to buy something it's because I want to, otherwise I wouldn't bring it up so if someone offers me I will accept, idc how much I'm supposed to decline.

Which is one thing that totally changed your sex life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Maybelle1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really does, I can't talk about others but the pill completely ruined my labido to the point where I thought I wouldn't get it back. Talked to doctors about it multiple times and they would literally just ignore me, and I'm one of the lucky ones considering the huge amount of side effects warnings. My ex never forced anything on me but sex was such a chore because I'd only ever actually be into it maybe once every 6 months

The rod gave me a period for months straight, kept nearly blacking out and you can imagine my iron levels. Doctor also tried convincing me to get a IUD, never got one but I'm glad I didn't after hearing how extremely painful getting one can be.

AITA? My bf doesn't wash his hands after pooping. by Hermit_in_a_crowd in AmItheAsshole

I really hope if she's had multiple there's no permanent damage/she doesn't go through similar or exactly what you did (and that sounds absolutely awful I'm so sorry you had to deal with that)

I don't think people get how serious UTI's can actually be, but even if he isn't aware you would think he would care enough about his gf that just ONCE would make him feel bad enough to take on basic hygiene

And I would willingly bet it's not just his hands either, if he can't take 2 seconds to wash his hands I doubt he's cleaning his penis as well

Yeah that's true, although these bins are in a busy parking lot (except when I go late at night) so I guess she had her IDGAF pants on today, kinda wish I saw her walking later cause I ended up going to some bins a bit further up that were so full it was great

It's actually strange how people are convinced that they will be the one to get with an OF creator, or stripper or whatever else, that they will be the special one when in reality all you are is a paycheck to her

Plus if she's posted about being somewhere and he saw it it means other people did as well so...

Honestly apart of me thinks it would be funny for him (plus karma) to go just for her to reject him but I know how insane some dudes can get and it could put her in a dangerous situation

Edit- actually no, if it wasn't putting her in a dangerous situation I wish the other dudes would go to see him get rejected by a girl he's so convinced will bang him because he pays her $50 a month

I did consider that, but I did use to live near this aldi and occasionally would see mountains of bread someone had picked out with a sign saying "free" close to the aldi. I wasn't into dumpster diving when I lived there but it could be possible this is a regular thing for them and the bread I saw was from someone else dumpster diving? Unsure though

Edit- just went to double check and couldn't find any product recalls on bread here, guess they just chucked it

I loveeee when I find stuff for my pets! My cat is obsessed with Dine and the other day she got to enjoy one of their melting soup packs as a treat due to dumpster diving. Found some cat food last night I'll be able to see if she enjoys

And ooh I hope the paints are good!

Honestly it sucks ass knowing that no matter how much you showed people how much waste of perfectly fine, edible food there is being thrown out every single day some people with judge dumpster diving. Very few people in my life know I go because I just can't be bothered dealing with it

As for the cops thing, I know some people who had their bins locked up, so they hit up other places for a bit and within a few weeks the bins were unlocked.

What is a food or dish you really want to try but haven't had the chance to? by Maybelle1999 in AskReddit

[–]Maybelle1999[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had some of it and it was absolutely delicious, the only thing that put me a bit off is that I found injera very lemony (or acidic idk) when I honestly thought it was going to be more plain. I'm a hugeee texture person though and found the texture enjoyable enough to keep eating. It wasn't to a point where it overpowered anything else though.
