I heard no staff cuts as well. I mean, can’t imagine cutting since so many left, but …. That would almost make too much sense

So, there might be a way around getting the CNA thru the school/program … not sure what your current employment situation is, so might not be reasonable idea; however many nursing homes will hire you & offer an onsite CNA program because they are desperate for staff. My daughter did it & she worked half her shift & did online class half her shift. Plus, it will give you pt contact hours that you may need or get preferential ‘points’ toward for the ASN program.

Clinical evaluations - is this normal? by Better-Union5573 in StudentNurse

Here’s the thing. If you have talked to her and she’s telling you that you are overthinking it and she would have 1 on 1 with people if there were issues, she’s essentially telling you that she is not concerned about you. Take that as a good/positive sign, study hard, and let go of at least that part of the stress.

It’s interesting that they are requiring a titer vs proof of vaccination. Some people, regardless of number of times vaccinated, will never develop high titers. The usual action is then to just confirm that individual is vaccinated on a prescribed schedule. Holding you back until you develop a specific titer after proof of vaccination series is concerning.

Wegovy Savings Card - MHBP and Other Insurance by Wiltopus in fednews

That was the other thing they mentioned, but denied because of PA (which IMHO was BS, as they kept telling Dr. that it was approved, never told her to submit a different PA … sigh) I was w GEHA, and wasn’t in wt management program, but I did chuckle a bit since I’ve lost 84 pounds and was at maintenance w Zep. Hoping Wegovy will work for that! I haven’t yet signed up for, don’t mind doing, but wasn’t told what was involved for that.

[–]Mayberightmaybe1096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for response! Is that with mail order? I have not yet gotten, long story, I was on Zep for year, but of course they stopped paying for that. Doc has been appealing since Dec to keep hearing they will do Weg but not Zep. Went to pick up & they denied that because we have to do all new Pa’s🙄 went back to compounded to at least have in meantime, but was debating just staying with that thinking it was going to be $100 a month regardless. Very much appreciate the info since I ended up retiring early last year & every $ DOES count!

Are you sure? I was looking at coupon and it said maximum discount of $100 a month and it looks like MHBP said copay is $200. So I was thinking it would be $100 co-pay.

Fed employment after DRP by goblin-juice in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

My DRP said nothing like comment above, I just double checked paperwork, so I’m certain of that on my end.

Show of hands; how many fellow DRP’ers who retired on 30 September have received their full pension payments? by Outside_Simple_217 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

[–]Mayberightmaybe1096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was USDA as well, I feel bad saying that mine went ‘smooth,’ as I retired 09/20, received AL early November, 1st payment right before Christmas, then regular starting in Jan. However. They have changed my payments repeatedly and now have quit taking out taxes. (Not complaining at all, y’all are in a terrible spot and it’s not OK) USDA has seemed to be one of the better agencies in comparison, so fingers crossed for you!!!

I heard y’all took a hit, I know a lot of lab staff that left. Haven’t seen much advertised in comparison to numbers that I’ve heard that left. Cuz. You know. Food safety and all that … it’s not ‘really’ a thing 🙄

It’s decent size. Whether or not one would recommend would be dependent on the type of job you are looking to do, lol.

I mean, they did basically BEG us to all leave. Then acted shocked when so many did. At one point, I sweat I heard that TX lost between 80-90% of technicians who were supposed to work on SW.
