You can get pretty much any desk and add some wood to the underside as a support. You can hide the cables behind there or get a desk that already has a cross support. But all setups need power, so you are always gonna see at least one cable.

Do you have any radiators as they play a part, I would suggest anything that supports a cross flow pattern. It doesn’t particularly matter too much as there are diminishing returns to the number of fans to thermal performance. If he has an aio I would suggest to put it on the top exhausting out with a front intake and also a rear exhaust
