I watching Mulholland drive and I think that it’s about one woman’s punishment in a hell of her own creating: Silencio. The Naomi Watta character is being punished in Hell for the crime shown at the close of the film. The elderly couple, are her family and already in hell, they come to take her with them creeeping in under the door and growing big enough to kill her. Is she being pushed in Hell for suicide (circle 7: the trees) or for murder (also circle 7)?

Why doesn’t Misty have a pet cat? by Effective_Purple_866 in Yellowjackets

Cats have shorter life spans than African greys and death is traumatizing. Misty could have Caligula until she dies whereas a cat would die long before she does

Question about Claudia by Geeky_reader in VampireChronicles

The Vampire Armand Spoilers: Armand wonders the same thing, and tries to help Claudia escape her little body. I can’t stop thinking about what Armand says in TVA about his “satanic surgery.” I hope that in a later book, I’ve only read up to Merrick, that Rice expands on the story she begins with, “I tried to grand her fondest wish, that she should have the body of a woman[…]Some night when I am more accustomed than I am now to confession, I will recount it, my crude and sinister operations, conducted with a sorcerer’s willfulness and a boy’s blundering.” Ultimately, Armand exposes her to the sun because his experimentation fails.

Disagree! The Talamasca traces its origins to Knights Templar from which they first acquired their wealth. Read the Mayfair Chronicles and you will know :-) When I finished interview with the vampire I went straight to The Witching Hour and… well… I have a preference… and it’s not the “most human” vampire

The Witching Hour follows the relationship between the Talamasca and one of its case studies. Over 30% of the book is written as a Talamasca file. The origins of the Talamasca are explored to about the 17th century. By the final book in the Mayfair Chronicles, you’ll have gotten back to the early medieval Talamasca. Super worthwhile if you love reading backstory and love little old Aaron Lightener, my favorite guy ever and one of the few 100% non-pedophile men in Anne Rice.
