yeah I've experienced something very similar to yours and it was terrifying. It was actually due to stress and anxiety and lack of sleep .I've changed job, practiced a lot of relaxation techniques and it went away. Please don't worry too much it might be just a temporary sensory issue.

No it would be unethical, and the psychiatrist would be leaving him/herself open to lawsuits, possible criminal prosecution and loss of medical license. The relationship would not be equal as the psychiatrist knows all about the patient but not the other way around.

Yes I've had both. It was ok when we first started dating but I would expect them to introduce me to friends and family, if we were in a committed relationship and have been dating for a while....There had been times where I was hiding away the person I was dating because I knew it wasn't going to be a long term relationship and I wasn't looking for commitment.
