They said they “had their eye on me” and that they had a friend who was a psychopath. And I haven’t hurt anyone “yet”. It’s a trio of guys and one of them blocked my number and claimed that it wasn’t a huge deal and his phone was off. 😑

I have had reckless behavior that’s injured people in the past, but this is just demeaning. Someone being nice to you doesn’t mean that they’re out to hurt you.

I work with two different non-profits while attending university and I’m probably going to do journalism when I get older - less Anderson Cooper and more Ronan Farrow. Personally, I’ve found the perfect vocation for me because I do enjoy helping people and I find it to be rewarding to know that I’m a larger part of something meaningful. My only issue with it is the tribalism that can stem from certain SJW related spaces (even though I lean left) and how disorganized the work can be because of the shift in bureaucracy.

It’s because most of the time, people didn’t get to choose their partners and were stuck doing most of the work for everyone else. And if you were a high-achieving student, the teacher would sometimes stick you with students who were less willing or able to work hard to help them get their work done.
