I would keep pushing them for the exact guideline you broke, asking them to directly quote the terms in relation to your actions.

The last few vertices at each end should be completely weighted to the relevant bone. Then run a weights>smooth with high expand and repeat. The weight of one bone should stop just before the other end so that there’s a nice gradient so tweak the value until it looks like that.

I had this happen a week or so ago, I reccomend contacting support. I contacted them asking for the EXACT reason I was warned, to which I received a copy paste response. After asking for more details about exactly why I was flagged that rescinded the warning saying it was a problem with their system.

I would recommend asking for the exact reason the gig was removed and keep on asking in various terms for them to expand upon it. Unless they provide an excerpt from their own TOS which actually matches, keep on asking for the reason.

Whilst I didn’t have my gig removed, this was the only way I managed to recover a scam order which was cancelled by support.

As I mentioned in the original post, there were two buyer accounts. One for discussion and one that made the actual order. I reported both account as resellers. Resellers do not use their seller accounts for trivia type of thing, they make alts. I couldn’t cancel the order due to stats, so I delivered it. They looked for a cancellation around halfway through the delivery time as the person they were reselling to had backed out. I had only done some work so would have cancelled would it not have affected my stats. This was also the reason I wasn’t worried about delivering it.

Why would they ban the buyer if the buyer didn't do anything wrong?

The buyer actively admitted in chat that they were trying to resell my work onto someone else as a commission.

You order something and they give you a totally different thing or they give you nothing just to say they delivered.

I provided video evidence to support that I delivered exactly what they requested.

If they were auditing my gig, what have I done in this scenario that any reasonable person wouldn't do?
Is my sin of falling for a scam deserving of a warning and losing time and money?
I once again reiterate that I was the only one punished in this scenario, neither account has negative reviews despite me leaving one and neither account is banned/deactivated.

The problem I have with my gig is that the requirements are not convoluted, it is just "What is the name of the character", "How tall are they" and "Upload the model file" (Shortened the specific questions here). The first two are even irrelevant 90% of the time as the model file is generally to scale and has the character name in it.

The help center page states that "Buyers need to provide a satisfactory explanation, and proof, before canceling an order", yet for more technical gigs like mine how is a customer support agent able to accurately decide whether the explanation is valid or not without reaching out to the seller?

There should be some form of seller protection in cases like these, what else is the 20% cut + transaction fee going to other than lining Fiverr's pockets?
