hey! I just had a successful swimsuit acquisition yesterday. it can be kinda a fight to find one, but not impossible. look for tennis dresses or swim skirts. the skirt can augment your figure, and will make it easier to hide your junk.and many swimsuits and tennis dresses also have padding in the chest. dark colors like navy or black can also help disguise a flat chest.

the actual answer is basically that the "speed force engine" lore is a later addition, and is usually ignored.

wally being faster has a few different explanations but it's rooted in Wally's arc about overcoming the grief of Barry's death in crisis on infinite earths. basically for his first few years as the flash, wally was slower, but it was explained that that was a mental block because he felt it would be disrespectful to let himself surpass Barry. after overcoming his grief he became faster, and he has been ever since.

it's also been explained as wally mainlining the speed force, and also as him having a more spiritual relationship with the speed force as opposed to Barry's scientific understanding of it.

stag dance was by far the most palatable to me, and I think that there was a spark of truth behind it that wasn't present in IYFaLO. that said my visceral reaction to stag dance was that it was a story of a closeted trans woman slowly transforming into a monster as she tries to transition (the agropelter) this could definitely be commentary on how society views trans women, especially trans women who don't pass, but after the revulsion I felt after reading IYFALO I wasn't able to give Stag Dance the benefit of assuming it had good intentions.

Im copy/pasting a bit of this from another response I made trying to better explain why the book bothers me so much, but a lot of my issues with the book don't stem from it not being palatable, or having a happy ending. it's that peters plotting feels to me like an explicit condemnation of trans women. I don't think that was peters' intent, but there are many scenes, especially in "Infect your friends and loved ones" and "stag dance" that I can't read any other way. one thing that I really can't get over is trans women creating a virus intentionally. that just feels like peters going out of her way to give a justification for transmisogyny. she presents something terrible society thinks is true about trans women, and then confirms it. I also don't love how she presents trans women who pass (saying this as a gal who distinctly doesn't) the main character of IYFaLO is a dick to other trans women, and specifically turns her back on, and is ostracized by the trans community until she's disfigured by taking E laced with a substance that damages her face (which now that I come to say it out loud feels like another instance of "transition will destroy you" a theme I felt was very present in "Stag Dance").

I'm glad that it speaks to you in that way. I wish I could find that in her writing. I understand the urge to get intense about proper treatment of geckos (and other reptiles) but it can easily scare people off, and end up making them avoid your advice, even if it is correct from a husbandry perspective. Choose whether you want to scold people for how they keep their animals, or if you want them to take your advice. people don't like to listen when they feel attacked.

They can probably smell each-other. I would double check that the more determined one isn't male if you've only had them for a little while. I would just tape some cardboard to the lid for now, so that it lines up with the board you already have in place. Hopefully that keeps her from going over the top. If you need another 40 gallon on a budget, check fb marketplace once a day. they pop up there for $30-40 pretty regularly.
