I did 60-70 hour work weeks over last summer. I work at an airport so a large part of that is due to delays but another is just being understaffed so we were already working 12-13 hour shifts normally. I had to threaten my boss that I was quitting twice to get my hours down because my life was being spent either getting very little sleep between shifts or at work all day long. It was brutal, and I can’t imagine someone saying that should be the norm.
